Description
## What it does
One Hour Forever measures your own play and tells you, while you are still
playing, where your time is actually going and what it is buying you.
Install it and play. There is nothing to set up.
### A status bar that knows what your time is worth
A single strip across the top of your screen shows your time to the next level,
your XP per hour, your gold per hour, and how this level compares with your own
fastest character at the same level. Every number is measured from your play,
not estimated from a table.
### Where your hour actually went
A breakdown by activity, per character and across your whole account: combat,
questing, travelling, standing still, in town, at the auction house, at quest
givers, fishing, flying. Most players are surprised by this screen. You cannot
save an hour until you can see where it went.
### Quest suggestions, never a route
It reads your quest log and your own habits, then tells you what is worth doing
now: turn-ins near you, the next cluster you can finish in one trip, quests that
are a poor use of your time, and ones to pick up as you travel. It never draws a
path or moves you. You choose where to go.
### The right quest reward
When a quest offers a choice of rewards, the best upgrade for your class, spec
and playstyle is marked with a green arrow, and the best item to sell is marked
with a gold coin. Hover either to see exactly why. It compares against everything
you own, including what is in your bags, and says nothing when it is not sure.
### Plan the session you actually have
Tell it you have one hour, two, or four. It plans what fits, keeps five minutes
back to wrap up, and counts down on the status bar. Or set a gold goal or a level
goal and watch the estimate move as you play.
### Farming and gathering, measured
Timed sessions that tell you what an hour of farming or gathering is really
earning, so you can stop guessing which is better tonight.
### Gold without the guesswork
What to put on the auction house and what to vendor, based on real prices it has
seen, your own gold per hour, and whether the item actually sells. Plus a ledger
of what you own across every character, and one-click mail to your alts.
### Smaller things that save a minute each
A note telling you where you stopped last time. Camp Benefits and Well Fed
reminders. Ammo warnings timed to how fast you actually shoot. Quest and
valuable-drop icons on enemy nameplates. Upgrade hints on item tooltips.
## What it will never do
- **No automation.** Every action takes a click from you. It never plays for you,
never moves you, never casts a spell.
- **No routes.** It suggests; you decide.
- **No ads, no donation prompts, no paid version.**
- **Nothing leaves your computer** unless you switch on anonymous stat sharing,
and even then it is numbers only, never your character names and never chat.
## Everything is optional
Every part you see can be switched off in Settings: the status bar, the alerts,
the nameplate icons, the tooltips, the windows. Keep what helps and turn off the
rest.
## Getting started
Type `/ohf` to open the window, or click One Hour Forever in the game's addon
menu beside the minimap.
Found a bug or have an idea? **Report it from inside the game.** The window has a
Report An Issue button that captures your level, zone and what you were doing, so
it can be fixed without a conversation.
