Olympus Forever Guild Recruiter

Recruiting on a megaserver means sifting through thousands of players. Olympus Forever Guild Recruiter searches /who level by level, lists only players without a guild, and lets you invite them in a few clicks. It remembers everyone you've invited so you never pester the same person twice.

Built for WoW Forever, including its First Surname character names.

Features

Scanning

• Scans any level range, one /who per level, spaced out to avoid the server's throttle
• Shows only guildless players with their level, class colour and zone
• Zone filter to recruit in one area, e.g. a busy starting zone
• Name alphabet filter: choose which name alphabets to list: Latin, Cyrillic, Chinese, Korean, Japanese or Other. Handy if your guild speaks one language.
• Repeat scan to keep searching while you play

Inviting

• Invite button on each player, or Invite all to queue the whole list
• Auto-queue mode adds everyone the scan finds to the invite queue
• Optional whisper before inviting with your own message. $N becomes the player's first name.
• Keybind support: bind "Next action" and tap one key to work through the queue
• Hands-free mode: your normal clicks in game drive the queue, so you can recruit while you play

Remembers who you've invited

• Players who decline are never shown again
• Players who join your guild, or are already guilded, are never shown again
• Players who don't respond are hidden for 7 days
• Session stats: found, filtered, invited, joined, declined

How it works (and why you click)

Blizzard only lets addons send a /who or a guild invite directly from a click or key press, one action per press. No addon can legally do either on a timer. This one queues everything up and each click, key press or hands-free click sends the next action. The big Next action button always shows what will happen next.

Getting started

1. Type /gr to open the window.
2. Set your level range, and a zone and name-alphabet filter if you want them.
3. Click Scan, then keep clicking Next action, or bind a key under Key Bindings → AddOns.
4. Invite players one at a time, or use Invite all.

Known issues (WoW Forever beta)

• Settings and invite history may reset between sessions. The current Forever beta client saves addon data but doesn't load it back at login. This is a Blizzard bug that affects every addon, and your history will persist once Blizzard fixes it.
• /who shows at most 50 players per search. On very busy levels some players won't appear, so use the zone filter to narrow the search.
• The alphabet filter is a rough language hint. It can't tell English speakers from German, Spanish or French ones.

Recruit responsibly

Players can report whispers as spam. Keep your message short and friendly, or leave whispers off and just send invites.
