Old Runes

Old Runes brings back the classic Death Knight rune textures — because your runes shouldn’t look like generic UI pasta.

What it does (DK-only, cosmetic):

Restores the old Blood / Frost / Unholy (and Death) rune artwork on Retail.

Optional support for the Personal Resource Display (PRD) so your “modern” UI can still look properly undead.

Choose your rune style:

-Spec: matches your current specialization

-Mixed: classic mixed set by slot order

-Death: all runes as Death runes (maximum edgelord)

Toggle cooldown numbers, cooldown spiral, and reverse recovery order.

Full in-game Settings panel (ESC → Options → AddOns → Old Runes).
