Description
OjoAvizor
Hold ALT and hover an item in your bags, bank or guild bank — everything greys out except items that match what you're pointing at. A fast, lightweight way to spot duplicates and find where your stuff is stored.
What it does
While your bags (and/or bank) are open:
- Hold ALT and move the cursor over any item.
- Every other item dims to grey — except items with the same itemID, which stay fully lit.
- It cross-references your bank and guild bank:
- Bank/guild tabs that contain a matching item glow gold.
- Tabs with no match are greyed out too.
- When the bank is closed, a tooltip line tells you where the item is stored (from the last time you visited).
It matches by item ID, so it works in any client language and with any number of bank tabs, including custom tab names, the Warband (account) bank, and the guild bank.
Usage
- ALT + hover — that's the whole feature. No setup.
/ojoavizoror/ojoa— show help. (A shorter/oaalias is also registered only if no other addon already uses it, to avoid conflicts.)/ojoa scan— manually rescan the bank (with the bank open)./ojoa debug— open a copyable window with bank UI internals (for troubleshooting).
Requirements & limitations
- Retail only (Midnight / 12.0.7+). The new bank API doesn't exist on Classic.
- Default Blizzard bag & bank frames. OjoAvizor hooks Blizzard's native frames, so it applies to whichever of them you've left as default. If a bag/bank replacement (Bagnon, AdiBags, ArkInventory, ElvUI bags…) takes over a frame, the effect won't show on that frame — but it keeps working on any frame still using the Blizzard default. For example, Bagnon with its Bank module disabled uses the native bank, where OjoAvizor works fully.
- The "is it in the bank?" tooltip note while the bank is closed relies on a snapshot saved on your last visit, so it can be out of date until you reopen it. This is least reliable for the guild bank, whose contents your guildmates also change.
- Guild bank: contents load tab-by-tab from the server (the addon queries each tab when you open the guild bank), so the first cross-reference may take a second or two to populate.
