Nucleus - v1.0.5
What's new
1.0.5 (2026-10-17)
New
- Master profile (Profile tab): other profiles can follow a master profile. Changes made while the master is active are copied into them, only in the parts you tick (appearance, indicators, auras, sizes and more); everything else stays per profile.
- Spotlight, own pet and group pet frames can hang on the party or raid frames (Attach to group frames): you set side and offset, and they stay in place when the group grows or turns into a raid.
- New Cooldown animation card under Appearance > Layout: set the animation style (top to bottom or spiral) once for all indicators (Global) or per indicator; with Global the setting is hidden in the indicators. In Classic Era and TBC it affects the aura rows only.
- Aura rows have a Glow option: around each icon or around the whole unit frame, with style and color (Retail, Forever).
- Spotlight: new button to add your current target by name.
- Cooldown spell lists have Select all and Select none buttons.
- Names with Chinese, Japanese or Korean characters are shown with a font that has them instead of empty boxes.
- The Move handles settings moved from General to their own page under Position.
Performance
- Less CPU in groups and raids: the range fade follows the game's range events plus one slow shared check, instead of a timer on every frame. The range check interval now acts as a minimum of 0.5 s for that check.
- Less stutter after combat: Click-Casting bindings are only rewritten when they changed, the frames are only restyled if the group changed meanwhile, and the work that waited for the end of the fight is spread over a few frames.
- Less stutter after combat: auras are only scanned again for units whose data changed in combat, a few per frame (Retail, Forever).
- Less memory when profiles switch while the options window is open: its pages are kept per profile instead of being built again.
- Less memory while dragging sliders of custom indicators and aura rows (Retail, Forever).
Fixes
- Fixed a short stutter every few seconds while the options window is open (the memory read-out).
- Fixed Hide in combat (Role Icon, Missing Buffs, tooltips) hiding one frame after the other at the start of a fight: they now follow the player's combat state at once.
