NT_DispelSounds

NT_DispelSounds plays an alert sound when a dispellable debuff is detected on your party or raid members.

This addon is now fully standalone and no longer depends on DandersFrames. It scans group members directly and alerts based on your selected detection mode, current role filter, and sound settings.

• Plays a sound when a matching dispellable debuff is found
• Supports two detection modes:
  • Dispellable by Me
  • All Dispellable
• Supports LibSharedMedia-3.0 sound selection
• Supports per-unit cooldowns to reduce spam
• Supports global cooldown protection between alerts
• Supports repeat alerts while the debuff remains active
• Supports role-based filtering for your current spec:
  • Healer
  • DPS
  • Tank
• Supports profiles for saving and switching settings
• Includes debug mode for chat logging

• Optional: LibSharedMedia-3.0 for custom sounds

Install the addon folder here:

How It Works

NT_DispelSounds checks your party or raid members for dispellable debuffs and plays your selected alert sound when a match is found.

Alert behavior depends on:

• your selected detection mode
• your current spec role filter
• your sound cooldown settings
• whether repeat alerts are enabled

Detection Modes

Dispellable by Me

Alerts only for debuffs your current character spec can remove.

This follows Blizzard's player-dispellable filtering and matches the expected standard dispel behavior.

All Dispellable

Alerts for any standard dispellable debuff found on group members.

Slash Commands

The addon uses the slash command:

/dsa

Available commands:

• /dsa - Opens the options panel
• /dsa test - Plays the currently selected alert sound
• /dsa changelog - Opens the changelog page

Notes

• This addon is standalone
• It does not require DandersFrames
• If custom sounds are unavailable, the addon falls back to a built-in WoW sound
