NPCFinder

This addon is made for finding a specific npc or player, for example while doing old content or achievments. You can enter the name of the NPC or player and search for it in 2 ways: 

Open world: The addon will activate all necessary nameplates and search for the name. After finding the NPC or player, it will restore the previous state of the nameplates. You can then use a macro to ping and mark the npc or player to find him. 

Dungeons / Raids: since blizzards addon restrictions doesnt allow the nameplate scan in dungeons or raids, you rely on the macro itself to find the npc / player you want to find. Drag the macro to your action bar, enter a name and repeatedly press it until you find the npc / player you were looking for.
