Description
-Norcraft-
Norcraft is a Norwegian localization addon for World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade Anniversary.
It translates spells, combat text, tooltips, and various UI elements into Norwegian, designed to deliver a "Verden av Norcraft" combat experience without ruining the naturally English state of the game.
Features::
What it Translates:
- Spellbook names
- Talent tooltips
- Spell & ability tooltips
- Some NPC spells & abilities
- Cast bars & utility bars
- Passives, buffs & debuffs
- The entire Spanish Wikipedia article about fish
- Status text (Red & Yellow)
- Floating Combat Text (Red, White, Yellow, Purple & Blue)
- Mouseover units such as Totems, Elementals, Demons, etc.
- Every class, pet, profession, racial, rank, hotel, Trivago.
- Changeable Hotkey to quickly display original English text to avoid confusion during intense raiding.
- TL;DR: Basically everything with its own SpellID.
What it doesnt translate:
- Tooltip description(!)
- Quest text
- Items (although some item effects are covered)
- NPC names
- NPC dialogue
- NPC chat bubbles
- Player chat bubbles
- Cities & locations
- Signs or other general mouseover objects
- The entire Spanish Wikipedia article about fish
- Most of the in-game UI
- Loading screen tips (...unless?)
- Other addons
Norcraft creates the Norwegian bubble around combat/gameplay without attempting to turn the entire client into a Norwegian localization.
Known issues:
- ...None?!
- But if you do actually manage find something missing, broken, untranslated, questionably translated, or any performance issues, please do report it.
