The Noggenfogger News

"Truth, Rumor, and Gossip Since the Third War"

The Noggenfogger News is a roleplay newspaper written by players, for players. Every issue is filled with stories, rumours, dispatches, classified ads and upcoming events from the community, and this addon lets you read it right inside World of Warcraft.

Built specifically for WoW:Forever RP and RP-PVP rulesets

Type /news to open the paper.

What's inside

• A real front page. The lead story, front-page headlines and an "Inside this issue" index, laid out on a six-column newspaper grid with photos taken by players.
• Every section, one scrolling page. Stories, classified ads and upcoming events, each under its own banner. Jump to any section from the front page and back again.
• Full stories. Click any headline to read the whole article, then return to exactly where you left off.
• Horde and Alliance editions. Stories written for one faction only appear for that faction, and the Dispatch section brings news from your own side.
• Every issue, not just the latest. Browse past issues from the list beside the paper.
• New edition alerts. When a new issue arrives, you're told in chat when you log in.

How it works

New issues arrive with addon updates, so keep the addon up to date to get each new edition. The addon only reads the issues it ships with: it never connects to the internet or sends anything anywhere.

Commands

• /news or /noggenfogger: open or close the paper
