NodeInfo

NodeInfo is a lightweight quality-of-life addon for World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade Anniversary that makes gathering professions easier to understand at a glance.

The addon enhances tooltips for Herbalism, Mining, and Skinning by displaying both the skill required to gather a resource and your character’s current profession skill. It color-codes the information based on difficulty, making it easy to tell whether a node or creature is currently within your skill range.

For Herbalism and Mining, NodeInfo works on both world objects and minimap tracking nodes. Hovering over a herb or ore node will show the required gathering skill along with your current Herbalism or Mining level.

For Skinning, NodeInfo adds useful information to creature tooltips before and after combat. When hovering over a likely skinnable Beast or Dragonkin, the addon calculates the Skinning requirement based on the creature’s level and displays your current Skinning skill alongside it.

The addon also handles the different states of a corpse. If a skinnable creature is dead but still contains loot, nodeInfo keeps the Skinning information visible and adds a clear green indicator:

Once the corpse has been fully looted and Blizzard marks it as skinnable, the addon continues displaying the calculated Skinning requirement and your current skill.
