NicCopyTooltip

A World of Warcraft addon that captures a full item tooltip as plain text and presents it in a copyable popup, useful for sharing item details anywhere outside the game.

NicCopyTooltip

Hover over any item and press your keybind to instantly copy its full tooltip to your clipboard. Built for use with the Lorewalker Cho Discord bot, which renders the tooltip as a styled image and posts it to your server.

How It Works

Hover over any item in the game. Press your bound key (or type /nct) to open a popup containing the full tooltip text, pre-selected and ready to copy. Hit Ctrl+C (or Cmd+C on Mac), then paste it into any watched Discord channel. The bot handles the rest.

Usage

  1. Bind a key under Keybindings > NicCopyTooltip
  2. Hover over any item
  3. Press your keybind (or type /nct)
  4. Press Ctrl+C to copy, then paste into Discord
