Description

NeatPlates Community Edition

Updated for Mists of Pandaria Classic Phase 5+, TBC Anniversary 2.5.6+, Classic Era 1.15.9+, Retail 12.1+

NeatPlates Community Edition keeps the addon working on modern Classic clients where Blizzard has introduced its own updated nameplate system, including MoP Classic Phase 5+, TBC Anniversary 2.5.6+, Classic Era 1.15.9+ and Retail 12.1+

NeatPlates Community Edition
is a nameplate addon for World of Warcraft Classic clients. It enhances enemy, friendly, and target nameplates with a clean, customizable interface so you can track enemies, allies, threat, debuffs, cast information, and other combat-relevant details more easily.

The addon is designed to work on modern Classic versions where Blizzard has introduced its own updated nameplate system, including MoP Classic Phase 5+, TBC Anniversary 2.5.6+, Classic Era 1.15.9+ and Retail 12.1+

Basic Configuration

  • Use Blizzard’s built-in AddOn options menu
  • Configure nameplate styles, colors, threat display, auras, and other visual settings
  • Keep your existing NeatPlates setup while adapting to current Classic clients

Community Edition

NeatPlates Community Edition exists to keep NeatPlates functional and maintained for current WoW Classic versions.

The goal is not to redesign the addon or turn it into something different. The focus is compatibility, stability, and preserving the original NeatPlates feel.

Bug reports, suggestions, and pull requests are welcome.

Special thanks to the original developers for their work .

I’d like to extend a very special thank you to the players in the community who are helping me with the testing. Since I can’t test every configuration and don’t play every version of WoW myself, I rely on their help—especially when it comes to testing versions, reporting bugs, and retesting. For this, I’d like to express my heartfelt thanks to

  • Mr.Tubs (feature testing and report)
