What's new
NearbyBuff 1.10.2
All classes
Added
- Settings are saved separately for each character, including city/combat display, buff preferences, refresh timers, keybinds and window layouts. Existing shared settings are copied once into each character profile.
Improved
- A large centered combat pause message matches the flying pause display and clears when combat ends.
- The buff key works with the main window, compact view or UI closed; casting remains paused during combat.
- The player list starts with three rows and expands to five when needed. It retains that capacity while buffing, then resets when solo view returns.
- Reduced idle scanning and repeated aura, roster and UI work while preserving event-driven checks and periodic player discovery.
- Main-window timers and charge counts use consistent status colors and gold dividers. Manually active buffs retain Active | Disabled when their reminder is off, including manually active alternatives to the selected armor, shield, aspect or aura.
- Buff status text and countdowns update during combat. When live aura data is unavailable, the display retains confirmed states and charge counts, including permanent effects; casting remains paused.
- Window headers use dark walnut leather.
- Target Check explains whether a refresh is blocked by a stronger buff or unreadable buff strength.
Fixed
- Recognizes mutually exclusive camp buffs before recommending Fortitude, Divine Spirit, Intellect, Mark of the Wild, Might, Wisdom or Kings. Kings upgrades the fixed 8% camp equivalent. Other effects preserve stronger, equal or unverified coverage and permit readable weaker single-stat upgrades.
- City hiding preserves party and raid members and does not suppress buffs inside dungeon or raid instances.
- Improved nearby-player discovery after group and instance transitions when nameplate frames are unavailable.
- Grouped 1.9 releases under one expandable history section.
Paladin
Fixed
- Your regular blessing takes priority over supplemental Salvation, including a backup blessing when another paladin already covers the primary.
Priest
Added
- Smart Fear Ward uses Classic and current Forever encounter data to enable reminders where fears are known, including battlegrounds. Unknown instances stay enabled; no-known-fear instances are skipped. Outside supported instances, the main row hides unless the buff is active; active restricted buffs show Active | Disabled until they end. A help button lists instances by level with their recorded fear-casting mobs.
Improved
- The main Fear Ward label shows the saved Tank, Healer or You priority.
- Touch of Weakness is hidden when its reminder is disabled unless its aura is active. It shows Active | Disabled until the aura ends and remains available in Settings.
- Fear Ward timers are green above two minutes, yellow above one minute and red during the final minute. The single-charge counter is hidden.
Fixed
- The Fear Ward dropdown displays and edits the saved target preference while retaining the solo fallback to You.
