NDui_AbsorbOverlay

NDui Absorb Overlay is a lightweight plugin for NDui that makes absorb shields on raid and party frames easier to read — especially for healers.

Problem

NDui’s default absorb bar grows to the right of current health. At full HP there is no room to show shield size, so large absorbs are easy to miss.

What this addon does

• Missing-health absorbs still appear from current HP to the right (NDui’s original behavior).
• Overflow / full-HP shields appear as black dashed lines from the left, so you can judge shield amount even when the unit is topped off.
• Uses a custom sparse black dash texture for better contrast on class-colored health bars.
• Does not replace NDui’s class coloring or restyle the whole health bar.
• Does not edit NDui files — safe across NDui updates.

Requirements

• NDui (required dependency)
• Retail / The War Within / Midnight (matches NDui’s current TOC)

Install

1. Install and enable NDui.
2. Install and enable NDui Absorb Overlay.
3. Reload UI (/reload).

Notes

• Only affects NDui raid/party unit frames.
• No configuration panel — works out of the box.
