Mythic Key Roulette 1.1.10
1.1.9 was tagged but never published; its notes are included here.
Added
- You no longer need a keystone to join a guild run. A five-player group needs one key, not five — somebody back from a week off has the item level and the score, they just have not run a dungeon yet. Sign-ups without a key are marked as such in the list, and the drawn key always comes from someone who has one. The minimum level still applies to everyone who does bring a key.
- Drawing the keystone through a run now does everything the group roll does — Illidan's line, the popup when the window is closed, the entry in
/mkr history, and the Announce button. The two were the same action with different results, and the difference was impossible to explain. - "I am not playing" when creating a run, for organising one you will not join. The addon then picks a leader among the people who offered to lead, whispers them the roster, and their client builds the party.
- Runs now recruit only the roles you are missing. The slots used to be a fixed 1 tank / 1 healer / 3 dps, which assumed an empty party — with a tank already in your group it drew a second one and tried to build a party of six. It now subtracts whoever is already with you, and never draws more people than there are seats.
- The guild announcement says who the run needs — "needs 1 tank, 2 dps" — instead of only listing the requirements. The run panel shows the same line next to the sign-up count.
- The run's Duration field now says it is in minutes, matching the bet's field, which already said seconds.
- The dungeon image in the run result teleports you, the same as the one in the group roll — the outline turns gold when the teleport is ready. The addon only enables the button; you cast it.
- "I can lead" next to the role buttons. Volunteers are starred in the sign-up list, so the organiser can see who is willing to take the party.
- Several guild runs can now be open at once. When more than one is running, arrows appear in the run panel to switch between them; with a single run nothing changes.
- One sign-up per person. Trying to join a second run tells you which one you are already in, so nobody ends up drawn for two runs at the same time.
- The version you are running now shows in the footer, with a notice when a newer one is out. The addon has no internet access, so it learns this from guildmates who already updated — the notice appears once somebody in your guild is ahead of you.
- "Don't alert me about runs" in the settings menu, for people who do not run Mythic+. It silences the sound and the addon's message; the guild chat line still goes through, since that is real chat meant to reach people without the addon.
- A 30-second cooldown on opening a run, matching the one on opening a bet.
- Both "don't alert me" switches now live together in the settings menu. The bet one used to sit inside the bet panel, so whoever found one never found the other.
Changed
- Whoever opens a run now plays in it. The organiser mode — creating a run you would not join, and handing the party to a volunteer — is gone, along with the "I can lead" checkbox that fed it. Opening a run cost nothing when you never had to show up, and a guild fills with runs their own authors never run. You now pick your role before the draw, and the roles already covered are simply not recruited.
- The sign-up buttons now say what they do. "Tank", "Healer" and "DPS" sitting in a row did not say whether they marked your role, filtered the list or signed you up; they read "Join: Tank" and the line above them spells out the step. They were also hardcoded in English and never translated.
- The run selector is labelled. Two arrows and a "2/2" did not explain themselves.
- A warning when someone in your party has not set their role. The game reports no role for them, so the slot maths goes blind — if the unset player is your tank, the run would recruit a second one. One click on the party frame fixes it, and it needs neither the addon nor the guild.
- The addon list tooltip described only the keystone roll, which had been the whole addon months ago. It now names the guild board, alts and Great Vault, run sign-ups, gold bets and the score calculator, on three short lines.
- Opening a run is refused with a reason while you are in a raid, or when your party is already full — in the second case it points you to the Group tab, which is what you actually wanted.
Fixed
- The "still needed" line was worked out from your own party, so anyone looking at someone else's run saw slots counted against the wrong group. It now shows only on runs you opened; everyone else gets the correct figure from the guild announcement.
- Trying to join a second run showed a raw
RUN_ALREADY_INon screen instead of a message: the text was never written in any language. - Numbers you typed could be replaced by the saved value before they were saved. Setting a run to 1 minute and clicking Create stored 5, because a background refresh rewrote the field while you were typing and the field only saves when it loses focus. Affects every numeric field: run requirements and duration, bet stake and duration, the minimum keystone level and the score goal.
- Signing up to a run whose organiser had logged off left you on "waiting for confirmation" forever — the confirmation comes from their client, and there was nobody to send it. The sign-up now gives up after 20 seconds and says why.
- A run whose organiser left the game stayed on screen until its timer ran out, still taking sign-ups nobody would ever receive. Runs are re-announced every 30 seconds, so one that goes quiet for 90 is now dropped.
- The run creator could be left out of their own run. Once slots started subtracting whoever is already in the party, the creator's own role had zero openings, so they competed for a seat that did not exist. They are now placed in the team directly.
- In the run result, the dungeon image sat on top of the "group formed" line. It now clears the text above and the role slots below.
- The bet history title showed "Waiting for confirmation..." instead of how many bets are unsettled.
LOT_PENDINGwas defined twice in every language, and Lua silently keeps the last one — so the short counter was replaced by an unrelated, much longer string that no longer fit. - In the bet tab, the panel title ran underneath the History/Standings button. The title had a fixed width that overlapped the button by 102 pixels — invisible in English, where the text is short, and clipped in Portuguese and Spanish.
- Two guild runs opened close together used to overwrite each other on every client. Anyone signed up to the first was silently dropped, and the same person could be drawn for both.
- Spanish clients fell back to the English tooltip;
