Mythic Assistant

A curated series of dungeon mechanics for the current season of Mythic+ dungeons.

Mythic Assistant gives tips for every dungeon section with one thing in mind:

"What can your character actually do here?"

Rather than showing every mechanic to every player, Mythic Assistant displays information that is relevant to your character, taking into account your role, class, specialization, and race.

A healer may be reminded about an important dispel. A class with an interrupt or stop may see a dangerous cast. A character with a useful racial ability may see a mechanic that other characters don't. Tank mechanics stay with the tank, healing concerns stay with the healer, and class-specific utility is called out when you can actually use it.

The goal is to give you useful information in the moment without filling your screen with mechanics that aren't your responsibility.

Designed for Learning

Mythic Assistant isn't intended to play the dungeon for you, it's designed to help you learn it.

As you move through a dungeon, the information window follows the current section of the run, displaying the enemies and mechanics you need to be aware of. Boss encounters receive their own guidance, and the addon automatically progresses as you make your way through the dungeon.

Over time, the goal is that you need Mythic Assistant less and less as the mechanics become muscle memory, until you bring in another character with an entirely different toolkit and discover that character has different answers to the same dungeon.

What Mythic Assistant Is Not

Mythic Assistant is not a replacement for encounter timers such as DBM or BigWigs. Those addons are excellent at telling you when something is happening. Mythic Assistant is focused on helping you understand what matters to your character when it happens.

The ultimate goal is simple:

Less time reading a dungeon guide. More time learning the dungeon by actually playing it.

Commands:
/mass lock - Lock or unlock the info panel
/mass resetpos - Reset the info panel position
/mass scale <value> - Set the info panel scale (0.6 to 1.6)
/mass theme <dark|light|arcane> - Set the info panel theme
/mass opacity <value> - Set the info panel opacity (0.2 to 1)
/mass clickthrough - Toggle click-through mode (Cannot move frame while clickthrough enabled)
