MyRecipeTracker

Stop guessing where that one missing recipe comes from.

MyRecipeTracker lists every profession recipe your characters have not learned yet, grouped by expansion, together with the source the game itself reports — vendor (with zone and price), profession trainer, dungeon/boss drop, reputation requirement, quest or auction house — and turns the ones tied to a specific NPC into a clickable map waypoint.

Features

• Missing-recipe list, grouped by expansion. See at a glance which recipes belong to which expansion, and whether another character on your account already knows them.
• Real sources, straight from the game. Vendor (zone + price), profession trainer, drops down to "boss + dungeon" level, reputation (including Revered/Exalted), quest givers, auction house. Sources that can be pinned to an NPC become clickable and can be navigated to (TomTom if installed, otherwise the built-in user waypoint).
• Complete tooltip. Source, drop, blueprint item ID, recipe rank when the game exposes it, and a "Known: CharacterA / CharacterB" list showing which of your alts already learned that recipe.
• Account-wide search. Type a recipe name and get a cross-character, cross-profession result list. (Plain substring match on the recipe name.)
• Multi-realm blueprint prices. Hover a recipe to see what that blueprint sells for on each realm you have data for, with the date the price data was collected. Prices come from Auctionator and are recorded automatically when you open the auction house.
• Character management. Right-click a character to hide it (kept as greyed-out and restorable) or to delete its data (confirmation, undo during the session, plus a cold backup you can restore later with a slash command).
• Account-wide data. One saved-variables file holds every character, so logging in on an alt still shows what your main knows.
• Hands-off scanning. Open the game's own profession window once and everything is recorded in the background. No buttons to press.
• Only three files, no libraries. Auctionator (prices) and TomTom (navigation) are optional.
• Performance matters. Virtualized row list; /mrt mem gives a detailed memory report.

Slash commands

• /mrt — open or close the window (minimap icon works too)
• /mrt help — list every command
• /mrt scan — rescan the profession window that is open
• /mrt all — clear the expansion filter
• /mrt dump — export a data report
• /mrt mem — memory report

Limitations (honest list)

• Tracks the nine crafting professions only (Blacksmithing, Leatherworking, Alchemy, Cooking, Tailoring, Engineering, Enchanting, Jewelrycrafting, Inscription). Gathering professions are not tracked.
• Search is a plain substring match on the recipe name — no pinyin, no fuzzy search.
• Roughly 10% of unlearned recipes come with no source text from the game at all (specialization unlocks, intermediate craft-chain recipes, old recipes). Those are labelled "not provided by the game" instead of being guessed.
• About 200 recipes have no expansion evidence; those fall back to the expansion of the profession window you scanned with, and the group header says how many are inferred.
• Recipe rank/quality is shown only when the game exposes it.
• Enchanting recipes have no blueprint item, so no auction price is available for them.
• Auction prices only exist for realms where you have actually scanned the auction house with Auctionator installed. If Auctionator is removed, the addon keeps showing the last snapshot and marks it as no longer being updated.

Note on the interface language

The in-game interface is currently Chinese only. The addon was written for a Chinese-speaking audience; an English UI is not available yet.

Installation

1. Download the zip and extract it.
2. Put the MyRecipeTracker folder into World of Warcraft\_retail_\Interface\AddOns\.
3. Restart the game (or /reload), then type /mrt.

中文说明

MyRecipeTracker（我的配方追踪）把账号里每个角色、每个专业还没学会的配方列成一张清单，按资料片分组，并附上游戏自带的出处（商人所在地区与价钱、训练师、掉落首领与副本、声望、任务、拍卖行），能定位到具体 NPC 的配方可以直接一键导航。

主要功能：跨角色未学清单 / 完整出处提示框 / 提示框里显示"账号里还有谁会" / 全账号搜索 / 多服务器图纸行情（走 Auctionator）/ 角色级屏蔽与删除（可撤销、可召回）/ 打开专业窗口自动采集 / 零依赖。

限制（如实说明）：只追踪 9 个制作专业；搜索不支持拼音；约 10% 的配方游戏没给任何出处；附魔配方查不到拍卖行价；行情数据需要你在对应服务器扫过拍卖行。界面目前仅支持中文。
