MyGatherTracker

🌿⛏️ MyGatherTracker is a lightweight Herbalism and Mining tracker I created for my own convenience while gathering. It delivers the information I like in a clean, simple way, and I’m making it available in case it helps other players as well.

Note that the addon has been tested particularly with Herbalism and Mining in mind as those are the professions my gathering characters has, and though skinning support does exist, but it has not been tested.

🌟 What it does
Tracks items gathered from: 
• Herbs
• Ores
• Stones
• Gems
• Motes

Displays a clean session summary:
• Total items collected
• Total gold value (via Auctionator)
• Zone‑by‑zone breakdown
• Session duration and gold per hour

Automatically categorises items into:
• Herbs
• Ores
• Stones
• Gems
• Motes

Additional features:
• Saves a history of past sessions
• Includes a Reset Session button to start fresh anytime

🧭 What it doesn’t do
To keep the addon stable and predictable, it intentionally avoids:
• Spellcast detection
• Gathering state machines
• Minimap overlays
• Node tracking
• World map integration

It listens for your loot messages and records the items that matter.

📬 Mail & Bank Safety
The addon does not track items taken from:
• Mailboxes
• Bank windows

This prevents accidental inflation of your gathering totals when clearing bags or collecting mail.

🐾 About Skinning
Skinning support is included, but not tested. If you use Skinning, you may see:
• Missing items
• Occasional untracked skins
• Incomplete category totals

If there’s strong interest, this can be expanded in future updates.

🔧 Requirements
• Auctionator: used for pricing 

🧹 Commands
• /mgt: toggle the window
• /mgt reset: reset the current session

🔧 Know Issues
• Blizzard occasionaly loses context when jumping between characters, no amount of testing has pinned down how this occurs, /reload will resolve the issue if it occurs.
