🌿 What is GatherTracker?

GatherTracker is a lightweight, no‑configuration addon that automatically tracks everything you gather while herbing or mining.
It displays a clean, sortable list of items collected during your session, along with:

    Item names & icons
    Total count
    Unit value (via Auctionator)
    Total value
    Session time
    Gold‑per‑hour estimate (with tooltip explanation)

All in a compact, movable window that updates instantly as you gather.

🧭 How It Works
    Start gathering herbs or ores, addon automatically detects gathering spells.
    Loot something - GatherTracker logs the item, value, and count.
    The UI updates instantly with totals and session stats.
    Hover over Gold per Hour to see an explanation of how the value stabilises over time.
    Click Restart Session to view a summary and begin a fresh run.

💰 Auctionator Requirement

GatherTracker requires Auctionator to provide item values.

Why?
Because WoW does not allow addons to access Auction House prices unless another addon has already scanned and stored them. Auctionator handles:

    Price scanning
    Price storage
    Stack logic
    API access

GatherTracker simply reads those values and displays them.

Without Auctionator:
    Unit price = “n/a”
    Total value = “n/a”
    Gold‑per‑hour = 0
    Item tracking still works normally

If you want accurate gold values, Auctionator must be installed and updated.
