MyCursor
MyCursor is an ultra-lightweight, high-performance cursor tracking addon designed for World of Warcraft (Retail / The War Within / Midnight). It ensures you never lose track of your mouse pointer during chaotic raids or intense PvP, without bloating your interface with unnecessary libraries.
Unlike other cursor addons that rely on heavy frameworks like Ace3 or LibStub, MyCursor is built with pure, native Lua. It integrates directly with the modern WoW Settings API for a seamless experience that feels like a part of the default UI.
* Zero Dependencies: No LibStub, no LibDataBroker, no bloated frameworks. Just pure, efficient code.
* Class Colors: Automatically colors the cursor trail to match your current character's class.
* Custom Colors: Prefer a specific look? Disable class colors and use the built-in color picker to choose any RGB color.
* Fully Resizable: Use the configuration slider to scale the cursor indicator from subtle to massive.
* Modern Settings: Integrated native configuration panel (Settings > AddOns > MyCursor).
Install the addon.
Type /mycursor in chat to open the settings panel.
Adjust the size and color to your preference.
MyCursor comes with a default texture, but you can easily use your own:
Navigate to _retail_\Interface\AddOns\MyCursor\media\ on your computer.
Replace the cursor.tga file with your own TGA image (ensure it is sized to a power of 2, e.g., 64x64 or 128x128).
Reload your UI (/reload).
