Changelog
All notable changes to this project will be documented in this file.
[1.2.0] - 2026-08-23
Added
- Patch-12.1 Valeera voice lines: every built-in list was re-audited against Wago Tools build
12.1.0.69404. The Dundun (39) and Nanea (33) lists are unchanged, and thevo_120companion pool is identical to the existing 150 IDs. The six newvo_121_valeera_sanguinar_*files first seen in build12.1.0.68209are included by owner decision (7825546,8026028,8026044,8026045,8026061,8026646), bringing the Valeera list to 156 IDs
Changed
- Removed the unused selective (
valeera-only) speech-bubble machinery (~180 lines). Bubble suppression now exclusively uses the delve-wide world-bubble fallback with automaticchatBubblesCVar backup/restore, matching the behavior since the selective path was disabled /mutevaleera addnow recognizes IDs already covered by the built-in Dundun and Nanea lists and reports them as built-in instead of silently adding them to the custom list- Mute-list application is incremental: only sound IDs whose muted state actually changed are passed to the sound API, and the composed list is cached and reused across toggles and status checks instead of being rebuilt and resorted every time
- Settings panel custom-ID list now reuses pooled row frames instead of recreating frames on every refresh
- Removed the unused
bubbleFallbackModekey; it is scrubbed from saved variables on next login - Delve state is no longer probed twice per zone/scenario event
Fixed
- CurseForge publishing works now: earlier tagged releases only ever published to GitHub because the packager had no CurseForge project target.
MuteValeera.tocnow carries## X-Curse-Project-ID: 1475450— the exact field spelling BigWigs'release.shgreps for — the release workflow passes-p 1475450explicitly as a fallback, and the unsupportedcurseforge:key was removed from.pkgmeta
Compatibility
- Retail Midnight compatible (
## Interface: 120100, current client build 12.1.0) - Existing
MuteValeeraSettingsare preserved; the removed setting is cleaned up automatically
[1.1.0] - 2026-04-11
Added
- Dundun mute — 39 verified voice-line IDs (
dundun_ratcompanion VO +vo_1200_dundunAbundance-event VO, builds12.0.0.63534and12.0.0.64741) added as an individually toggled mute list, enabled by default - Nanea mute — 33 verified voice-line IDs (Loa Speaker Nanea Revantusk — Nalorakk's Den, builds
12.0.0.63534,12.0.0.63854, and12.0.0.64741) added as an individually toggled mute list, enabled by default - Slash sub-commands
/mutevaleera dundun on|off|toggle|statusand/mutevaleera nanea on|off|toggle|status - Per-NPC checkboxes in the settings UI for Dundun and Nanea
- Optional speech bubble suppression for Valeera, enabled by default alongside voice muting
- New
/mutevaleera bubbles on|off|toggle|statusslash commands and matching settings panel checkbox
Changed
- Settings version migration no longer prints a chat message on login, reload, or zone changes
/mutevaleera statusnow reports Dundun and Nanea mute state, speech bubble status, active strategy, and delve state- Bubble suppression now prefers locale-independent Valeera-only hiding when the client exposes stable bubble ownership metadata
- When selective bubble ownership data is unavailable, the addon falls back to hiding world chat bubbles only while the player is confirmed to be inside a delve and restores the prior CVar afterward
[1.0.2] - 2026-03-02
Fixed
- Removed the tooltip status logic entirely, avoiding tooltip taint from GUID inspection on modern clients
[1.0.1] - 2026-03-02
Changed
- Relaxed the built-in Valeera audit rule to include audited
vo_120companion files from Wago Tools pages9through15when they were updated after build12.0.0.63534 - Added
150verified Valeera file data IDs to the default mute list; each entry was first seen in12.0.0.63534and updated in12.0.0.64499 - Enabled CurseForge publishing for project ID
1475450in the tag-driven release pipeline
[1.0.0] - 2026-03-01
Added
- Initial public release of
MuteValeera, cloned from theMuteRepetitiveBrannaddon architecture - Valeera branding, slash commands, settings panel text, and SavedVariables retargeted to the new addon
- Midnight-compatible packaging, CI, and tag-driven GitHub release automation
Changed
- The built-in mute list is intentionally empty in this first release
- Candidate Valeera files were audited from Wago Tools search pages
9through15and filtered against the rulefirst version > 12.0.0.63534 - No Valeera delve-companion voice assets met that exact inclusion rule, so the addon ships with verified behavior but no default muted IDs yet
Compatibility
- Retail Midnight compatible (
## Interface: 120001) - Existing
MuteValeeraSettingsare preserved across updates - Tooltip augmentation is disabled by default until Valeera companion NPC IDs are confirmed safely
