Built on the corpse of Cursed Asterisks comes another chat replacement addon: MurlocSpeak!
Toggle on and off with /murloc
This is a very simple addon that transforms your chat message into MurlocSpeak. It works very similarly to CursedAsterisks, in that all phrases are at the top of the .lua file, and phrases are chosen at random. Feel free to add or remove your own phrases by editing the list of phrases. The rest of the addon will function.
Under the hood it is all Cursed Asterisks, but the two addons WILL work in parallel (tested with CA 2023-03-05 release), in conjuction, and separately. One day I should fix all of the code rather than have chunks of dead, unused code in there, but it works, and it's not that serious.
