Murloc's Paladin Sounds

Adds overlaying sound files to Hammer of Light and Divine Storm to play the Cataclysm era Templar's Verdict sound and the Wrath of the Lich King era Divine storm sounds respectively

For those who fall into the same niche as me of retail players who miss the distinct sounds of paladin spells from older expansions, before they were all neutered into whooshing sounds that all blend together and lack the same satisfying feedback, but generally still enjoy a lot of the higher quality sounds in retail today.

This addon does 2 things:

  1. Plays the old Cataclysm era Templar's Verdict sound effect when Hammer of Light is used, creating a satisfying effect of the "blade drawing" sound effect leading into the crash of the vanilla Hammer of Light sound.

"Why not replace Final Verdict instead, since that's the successor to Templar's Verdict nowadays?" you might ask.

My answer is that Final Verdict is not the occasional heavy hitter that it used to be, and the old sound was a very, VERY distinct sound. Having it playing constantly throughout a fight where final verdict is cast as frequently as it is cast in retail nowadays proved too much. Spreading it out by having it play during Hammer of Light proved much more satisfying.

2. Plays the old Wrath of the Lich King era Divine Storm sound effect (with some important pace and volume edits) whenever Divine Storm is cast to blend in with the vanilla storm sound for some extra boom.

"Why give Divine Storm the Divine Storm sound effect when you moved the Templar's Verdict sound effect over to Hammer of Light?"

As mentioned in my answer to the above question about Hammer of Light, Templar's Verdict had an incredibly distinct sound in Cataclysm. While the WotLK Divine Storm sound was satisfying, it was also not nearly as distinct, and can hold up better on repeated casts without getting annoying.

"Well what if it DOES get annoying on one of the spells but not the other?"

Then that's where the settings come in. You can disable either spell if one of them gets annoying, but you still want the other.

Sounds will play through the "Effects" channel
