Description

More Raid Debuffs (MoP Classic)

Show more than 3 debuffs on Blizzard’s default RAID frames.
MRD extends the Compact Raid Frames so you can see up to 12 debuffs per unit with a clean, Blizzard-like layout and a tiny, combat-safe footprint.

Note: MRD affects Blizzard Raid Frames only. If you enable “Use Raid-Style Party Frames” in Interface → Raid Profiles, those are Blizzard raid frames and will be affected too.

Features

  • Display 4–12 debuffs on raid frames (default: 12).

  • Smart layout that keeps Blizzard’s look:

  • The normal 3 debuffs stay at bottom-left.

  • Extra debuffs 4–6 grow left from the first debuff.

  • Debuffs 7–9 and 10–12 stack upward in neat rows of three.

  • Context toggles: enable in Battlegrounds, Raids, and Dungeons/Scenarios.
(Arenas are always ON so you never miss critical CC.)

  • Standalone UI (type /mrd) with live preview, slider, and Apply Now.

  • Combat-safe & lightweight (no OnUpdate spam; updates defer until out of combat).

  • MoP Classic compatible assets & APIs.

Layout (at a glance)

[12][11][10]
[ 9][ 8][ 7]
[ 6][ 5][ 4][ 1][ 2][ 3] ← Blizzard’s default 3 remain here

Usage

  • Open settings: /mrd

  • Quick set: /mrd 8 (any value 4–12)

  • Click Apply Now in the UI to refresh current frames.

Compatibility

  • Built for Blizzard Compact Raid Frames.

  • Plays nicely with most UI skins.

  • Addons that replace CompactUnitFrame aura handling may conflict. Test MRD alone to verify, then report specifics.

Performance & Safety

  • Event-driven hooks; no constant polling.

  • Respects combat lockdown; changes queue and apply safely after combat.

  • Includes guards for tooltip/unit edge cases.

Install

  1. Extract to: Interface\AddOns\MoreRaidDebuffs\

  2. Restart or /reload

  3. Type /mrd

FAQ

Does this change party frames?
No—MRD targets raid frames. If you enable “Use Raid-Style Party Frames,” those are raid-style and will be affected.

Does it change buffs or nameplates?
No—only debuffs on raid frames.

Slash Commands

  • /mrd — open UI

  • /mrd 4–12 — set max debuffs (e.g., /mrd 9)

Troubleshooting

  • Ensure you’re using Blizzard Raid Frames (or “Raid-Style Party Frames”).

  • Changes during combat apply after combat.

  • If something looks off, try MRD by itself to rule out conflicts, then share details.
