Mother's Purse

Mother's Purse brings ARPG/Diablo-style item marking to your World of Warcraft bags. Hover over an item and press Space to mark it as junk, press it again to make it a favorite, and once more to set it back to regular, or press Shift+Space to set it aside for the auction house. The marks show on the items themselves, so you can sort your bags while you're out questing and deal with all of it the next time you stop at a vendor or the auction house.

Marking

• Junk is greyed out with a torn slash across it.
• Favorites get a blue bookmark in the top left corner.
• Auction items get a gold coin in the top right, and they glow while the auction house is open so they're easy to find when you sit down to post.
• The bottom of each tooltip tells you what your next press will do, like "Mark as junk" or "Unmark item".
• Grey (gray) items count as junk on their own until you mark them as something else.
• Soulbound, warbound and quest items can't be marked for auction.
• Space is only borrowed while your mouse is over a bag item and you're out of combat, so it jumps like normal everywhere else.

Selling

At any vendor, Blizzard's Sell All Junk button sells everything you marked as junk along with your grey items. Favorites and auction items are never sold, even when they're grey, and the button sells 12 items per click (the size of the buyback tab) so anything sold by mistake can still be bought back. Hover over the button to see how many items are waiting and what they're worth.

Marks stay on the right items

Gear is marked one copy at a time, so marking one ring leaves a matching ring alone. Stackable items like herbs are marked by type, so the next ones you pick up are already marked. Your marks are shared by all your characters, and marks on gear you haven't had in your bags or bank for 90 days are cleared out on their own (you can change that in the settings, or turn it off).

Works with

Mother's Purse works in Blizzard's bags (combined or separate), the bank and the Warband bank, as well as these addons:

• BetterBags: marks show on its items. With BetterBags 0.8.0 or newer, your junk also sells through BetterBags as soon as you open a vendor (hold Shift to skip it), and BetterBags will never sell or destroy a favorite.
• Auctionator: auction items glow on the Selling tab the same way they do in your bags.
• Baganator: marks show through a corner widget named Mother's Purse (keep it in one of the corners under Baganator's icon settings), and Baganator's own junk coin, grey icons and junk category follow your marks.
• Bagnon: marks show in your own character's bags and bank.

Baganator and Bagnon support hasn't been tested in game yet, so if anything looks wrong in either of them, please let us know in the comments.

If one of these addons changes in an update and something stops lining up, Mother's Purse turns off its support for just that addon and tells you in chat, and /purse retry turns it back on.

Settings

Everything is under Options > AddOns > Mother's Purse, or type /purse config. You can pick a different mark key (Space, F, G, T or mouse buttons 3 to 5) and turn off any part you don't want, including the tooltip hints, the marking sound, grey items counting as junk, Sell All Junk selling your marks, BetterBags selling and the auction glow. You can also choose how long to keep marks on gear you no longer have, clear your marks, and switch support for each bag addon on or off.
