Monka's Graphics Optimizer

Monka's Graphics Optimizer adds a button to the Escape menu that instantly applies a performance-focused graphics preset for WoW Retail.

If you want a quick FPS boost without digging through multiple graphics menus, this addon gives you a single-click way to switch to lighter settings before raids, dungeons, world content, or crowded cities.

Features

• Adds a "Monka's Graphics Optimizer" button to the Game Menu
• Applies a preset of FPS-friendly graphics settings
• Slightly increases contrast when it is set very low to help keep the image readable
• Refuses to apply settings during combat

What the preset targets

• Lower shadows, liquid detail, view distance, environment detail, and ground clutter
• Disables costly effects like SSAO, depth effects, compute effects, and outlines
• Reduces particle and spell-heavy visual load
• Keeps projected textures enabled for encounter readability
• Enables sharpening for a cleaner image after lowering settings

Good for

• Raids and large group content
• Older or lower-end systems
• Quickly switching to a higher-performance setup before demanding encounters

Important Notes

• Retail WoW only
• The addon only changes settings when you click the button
• It does not constantly run in the background
• Settings cannot be applied during combat because of WoW restrictions
