Mob Search
Want to find that next quest mob the fastest, so that no one else can beat you to it? Then this is the addon for you.
Mob Search is an addon that allows you to quickly find and target a specific mob in the game. With the addon, a text box and small UI is put on the screen.
When you target a mob and click the add button, it will create a new button that when clicked will target any mob nearby with that name. It will additionally put a raid target icon on the NPC to make it easier to find and see where it is through terrain.
You can also type a mobs name into the text box to manually add it to the list.
Right click on the button to remove it.
It will prioritize targeting alive mobs before dead ones, but if there are only dead mobs with that name then it will target the nearest dead mob.
You can have up to 8 different raid target buttons for 8 different NPCs on the screen at a time.
You can easily toggle the MobSearch UI with /mobsearch show, and you can also customize the UI to your liking in the addon's settings.
