Mob-Log

Mob-Log is a creature bestiary and loot-tracking addon for World of Warcraft Classic Era.

It builds a personal record of the creatures you encounter, showing how many times you have killed them, their abilities, a 3D model of the creature, and the loot you have personally observed from them.

Creature tracking

Mob-Log records creature kills made by you, your pet, and members of your party or raid. Your most recently killed creature is automatically shown at the top of the Killed list.

Each creature page can display:

• Creature name and 3D model
• Total kills
• Number of corpses looted
• Known abilities with spell icons and descriptions
• Loot you have personally observed
• Your observed drop percentage for each item

Personal drop rates

Mob-Log calculates drop rates from your own gameplay rather than displaying a predefined loot table.

For example, if Linen Cloth has appeared on 5 out of 20 looted corpses, Mob-Log will display an observed drop rate of 25%.

Empty corpses are also counted as loot attempts, so they correctly affect your observed percentages.

Item search

Switch the search mode to Items and search for an item such as Linen Cloth.

Mob-Log will show every creature in your recorded history that has dropped that item, along with your observed drop percentage.

Creature abilities

Mob-Log contains a built-in Classic creature ability database, allowing abilities to be viewed before the creature has used them.

Ability information is available both inside /mlog and directly in creature mouseover tooltips.

The combat log is also used to record additional abilities observed during gameplay.

Party support

Mob-Log tracks kills involving your pet and party or raid members.

When other group members also have Mob-Log installed, kill and loot information can be synchronized between the addons, including cases where another party member loots the corpse.

Commands

/mlog — Open or close Mob-Log
/moblog — Open or close Mob-Log
/moblog tooltip on — Enable creature ability mouseover information
/moblog tooltip off — Disable creature ability mouseover information
/moblog version — Display the installed Mob-Log version

Compatibility

Mob-Log 1.0.0 is designed for World of Warcraft Classic Era 1.15.9.

Data and licensing

Mob-Log is distributed under the GNU General Public License v3.0.

The bundled Classic NPC-to-spell mappings are derived from the GPL-licensed CMaNGOS Classic database. Required license and attribution information is included with the addon.
