MissionAccomplished: Core v1.9.47
What's new
MissionAccomplished 1.9.47
Optional quest choices and objective display repairs for Noctis Guides, plus crafting-tooltip comparisons for Mahler's Armory on WoW Classic Era 1.15.9 (Interface 11509). Update Core, Suite and your installed modules together; all thirteen packages share this release version.
Noctis Guides
- The optional Ineptitude + Chemicals = Fun branch (quests 1073/1074) offers Skip optional quest on the right-wing button and guide menu. Confirmation omits only that branch's potion errand and follow-up delivery. Required quest chains retain their existing protections.
- The choice is saved per character/profile, applies across route sections, and survives Restart. Restore optional quest in the guide menu makes it available again without rewinding the current route cursor. This does not accept, abandon or complete native quests, invent quest history, or mark required quests done.
- Later Gaxim steps separate the optional delivery from independent quest work, preserving the unrelated deliveries and follow-ups when the potion branch is declined.
- Declining the branch also hides its unit/item tooltip advice and enemy loot badges while leaving the native quest in the log. Other quests sharing the same enemy or item keep their advice. Already-visible Noctis advice refreshes immediately on decline or restoration; native quest observations and item reservations remain intact.
- An enemy whose objective is positively complete no longer retains an obsolete unchecked kill instruction during prerequisite recovery. Unreadable or ambiguous evidence cannot hide an instruction; another pending kill, item objective or independent item-use action stays visible.
Mahler's Armory
- Crafted armor tooltips can show a read-only future-level comparison when level is the verified remaining modeled restriction. A level-29 character can see Upgrade at level 30 for Dusky Leather Armor, with a clear Requires level 30; you cannot equip this yet warning.
- The preview compares against the current equipment and build. Unknown proficiency, permanent class restrictions, pending item data and other known unmet requirements still prevent a preview. Normal comparisons, gear planning and equipment actions retain their existing eligibility checks.
Companion packages
The other eleven packages are version-aligned companions with no runtime changes from 1.9.46. Installer relations, generated update-catalogue identities, vendor TOCs and existing artwork are preserved. Historical release archives, receipts and reports remain frozen.
Verification
- Armory's full suite passed 1,750 cases across Elune and PUC Lua 5.1,
with zero failures. The authorized native Leatherworking checks confirmed
future upgrade/downgrade headings, an ordinary comparison and cleanup on
reagent hover. Equipment, crafting, purchases and quest state were not
changed. Evidence:
reports/tradecraft-comparison-20261004. - Completed-enemy display regression coverage passed 77 tests per
runtime. The original Healer/Warder objective state had ended before
the native reload, so its exact display correction is covered by tests.
Evidence:
reports/completed-enemy-objectives-20261004. - Optional-choice integration coverage uses the real parser, guide engine,
saved-profile/checkpoint code, prerequisite resolver and Alliance routes.
It covers confirmation/cancellation, persistence, restoration, independent
quest work and unchanged native quest state. Final release checks are
recorded in
reports/ship-optional-quest-fix-20261004; authoring evidence is inreports/optional-quest-choice-20261004. - The optional button and cancellation were checked after an authorized
reload without saving a decline or altering native quests. Subsequent
read-only, restore-edge and native-marker changes are covered by automated
tests. Tooltip and enemy-model regressions verify decline/restoration,
shared objectives and fail-open unknown observations on both runtimes.
Evidence:
reports/optional-quest-native-markers-20261004. The final in-game check remains pending at the user's request while playing; an actual saved decline/restore was not performed by the test. Existing lint/style debt is documented in the reports.
