Mini-Companion

Mini-Companion keeps your chosen companion pet summoned. Pick a pet once, and the addon makes sure it stays out with you while you adventure.

Inspired by an old WeakAura that re-summoned your pet whenever you started moving — rebuilt as a proper addon with a clean way to choose your pet directly from the Pet Journal.

Features

🐾 Keep Your Pet Out — Whenever you start moving and your chosen pet isn't already summoned, Mini-Companion summons it for you, so your favorite companion is always at your side.

🛡️ Stays Out of the Way — Never re-summons while you're in combat, dead or a ghost, or mounted. It only acts when it's safe and sensible.

👤 Per-Character Selection — Each character remembers its own chosen pet.

✨ Rematch Integration — If you use Rematch, right-click any pet and choose Keep Out Permanently. The chosen pet is marked with a small icon in the list.

📜 Works Without Rematch — No Rematch? Alt+click a pet in the Blizzard Pet Journal to choose it. The selected pet gets a small marker icon, similar to the favorite star.

Usage

• With Rematch: right-click a pet → Keep Out Permanently (right-click again to clear).
• Without Rematch: Alt+click a pet in the Pet Journal.
• /mc status — show the currently chosen pet.
• /mc clear — clear the chosen pet.
