NEW
• Reworked castbars for target / focus / pet
→ Now reusing Blizzard’s own castbars (TargetFrameSpellBar, FocusFrameSpellBar, PetCastingBarFrame) and anchoring them directly under the MSUF unitframes.
• Per-unit castbar toggles
→ New options to enable/disable target, focus and pet castbars individually.
→ When disabled, the corresponding Blizzard castbar is fully hidden so external castbar addons (e.g. Quartz) can take over cleanly.
• Advanced target aura bar layout
→ New controls for target aura bar width, icon height, icon scale, alpha and X/Y offset.
→ Aura icons automatically adapt size and number-per-row based on the configured width/height.
• Movable Blizzard options / settings panel
→ The Blizzard Settings / Interface Options window can now be dragged and moved around the screen (and is clamped to the screen so it cannot disappear).
CHANGES
• Player castbar handling
→ The player castbar is now fully handled by Blizzard again. MSUF no longer modifies it to reduce conflicts and secret-value issues.
• HP text display
→ Default HP layout changed from “142k (64%)” to “142k 64%”.
→ Default HP mode is “Full value + percent”, still configurable in the options.
• Slider / UI behavior
→ Internal cleanup of integer vs. fractional sliders (e.g. aura scale, alpha) for smoother value stepping and more consistent behavior.
→ Small wording and layout tweaks in the options menus for better readability.
STABILITY
• Secret-value workarounds
→ Custom MSUF unitframe tooltips are disabled for now to avoid “secret value” Lua errors in dungeons, raids and other protected content.
→ Aura icon tooltips remain enabled but are wrapped in extra safety checks (valid unit, combat restrictions where needed).
• Name shortening
→ The “shorten names” feature has been effectively disabled/hidden in the UI because changing unit names on the frame can still interact badly with Blizzard’s new restrictions.
KNOWN ISSUES
• No custom unitframe tooltips
→ Hovering MSUF unitframes will not show custom tooltips. This is intentional for now to keep instances stable and error-free.
• Name shortening temporarily disabled
→ The name-shortening option is not available in the UI. It will only return once it is safe to use with Blizzard’s current API restrictions.
• Castbar customization limits
→ Because target / focus / pet castbars reuse Blizzard’s own bars, some elements (certain textures or extra text layers) cannot be customized as freely as a fully custom bar.
• Edit Mode interaction (focus frame size)
→ Changing the focus frame size in Blizzard Edit Mode (e.g. “Use Larger Frame”) can occasionally misalign the focus castbar until you re-anchor it via the options or perform a /reload.
• Slider vs. drag sync
→ Unitframe and castbar positions are clamped and stored in SavedVariables. In rare cases the value shown on a slider may lag one step behind a manual drag until you move the slider again.
• Player castbar options
→ The “Player” section in the castbar tab is currently a placeholder. The player castbar is completely managed by Blizzard and does not yet have additional MSUF options.
