MF Nameplates

Clean, fully customizable nameplates for WoW Retail and WoW: Forever, made by Marcelian & Flame.

Design your nameplates live, find any setting in seconds, and keep things light on your PC. Type /mf in game to open it.

🎨 Live designer

• Click any part of the preview nameplate to edit it: health bar, name, cast bar, auras, icons and more.
• Drag and drop everything into place. Parts snap to each other like a magnet, hold Alt for free movement, Alt + arrows to nudge.
• Four unit types, each with its own layout: enemy NPCs, enemy players, friendly players and friendly NPCs.
• Preview buttons show your plate as target, focus, casting, boss, quest mob, with a shield and more – no need to find a mob to test.

🔍 Easy to configure

• Search every setting from one box – it even understands typos and half words.
• A tooltip on every option, explaining what it does and how.
• Settings that belong together sit together, and options that need another switch stay dimmed until you turn it on.

🩸 Health bar & colors

• Bar textures with a texture strength slider, background textures, borders and the MF Gradient.
• Shields (absorbs), an execute line from your own spells, target selection as glow, outline, arrows, chevrons or brackets, and a focus texture so you find your focus at a glance.
• Colors by reaction, unit type (boss, mini-boss, elite, trivial), casters and quest mobs.
• Threat warnings for tanks, DPS and healers – plus optional colors for the mobs you (or your tank) hold securely.
• Unit type icons: skull, shield, lightning and swords for bosses, mini-bosses, casters and elites.
• Everything above is fully customizable (position, size, colors and more).

⚡ Cast bar

• MF Kick + Tick: shows when your interrupt is ready for this cast, and a tick where it comes back.
• Important casts highlight (Retail), cast target with class colors, spark styles, spell icon placement.

• Your debuffs with a pandemic highlight (Retail), enemy buffs with purge / enrage highlights, and a crowd control row.

🪶 Light on your PC

Nothing runs while nothing happens. Busy moments (big pulls, many casts) are handled together instead of plate by plate, and visual effects are only created when you actually use them.
