Description
Metronome
Queue the next spell on beat, and keep your screen clean.
Metronome is a small Retail combat helper that plays a click-style sound timed to land inside your spell queue window, so you can pre-press the next ability without watching cast bars or guessing the last moments of the GCD. It’s built for cast/channel completion with GCD fallback for instants, respects your SpellQueueWindow, and lets you anchor the cue to the end of cast/GCD or the start of the queue window, plus a custom delay in milliseconds.
No UI footprint in combat: there’s no overlay, bar, or flashing element: only optional settings in Blizzard’s options (and a slash command). In typical use it stays under ~50 KB of addon memory in-game, so it’s easy to leave on and forget.
Why Metronome
- Audio-only feedback
- Queue-aware timing aligned with how Retail accepts your next spell
- Lightweight: small memory footprint in game
- Configurable: enable/disable, instances-only mode, timing source, anchor, delay, bundled click volume
