MeltdownLC

Fork of RC Lootcouncil classic to handle SR as well as bulk rolling out items in addition to the regular LC handling, also allow for bulk assigning items, DE etc to save time distributing loot.

MeldownLC2

MeldownLC2 is an unofficial fork of RCLootCouncil Classic that combines traditional Loot Council functionality with an optional Soft Reserve and rolling workflow.

It was created for the Meltdown pug/guild community in World of Warcraft Classic.

When the Master Looter enables loot handling, the addon asks which loot system should be used:

  • SR Mode — Soft Reserve priority with MS, OS and Transmog responses and automatic rolls.
  • LC Mode — Traditional RCLootCouncil behavior with BiS, Upgrade, Minor, OS and Transmog responses.

The selected mode remains active across multiple loot sessions in the same group. Use /mc mode to change modes manually.

Main features

Soft Reserve mode

  • Import Soft Reserve data from supported JSON or CSV formats.
  • MS, OS and Transmog response buttons.
  • Automatic 1–100 rolls when submitting an eligible response.
  • Soft Reserves always have the highest award priority.
  • Normal response priority follows the configured button order.
  • Support for multiple reserves on the same item.
  • SR indicators in the Master Looter voting window.
  • Automatic tie detection.
  • Award Top awards the current item to its highest-priority roller.
  • Award All processes all eligible items at once.
  • Results window for reviewing awards from the current session.

The default SR priority is:

  1. Soft Reserve
  2. MS
  3. OS
  4. Transmog
  5. Pass

The highest roll wins between players with the same priority.

Loot Council mode

  • Standard RCLootCouncil voting and council functionality.
  • BiS, Upgrade, Minor, OS and Transmog responses by default.
  • Fully configurable buttons and responses.
  • Manual council voting and item assignment.
  • Standard loot history, session and trade functionality.
  • SR-specific rolling, columns and bulk-roll controls are disabled.

Shared improvements

The following features are available in both modes:

  • Updated for the Mists of Pandaria Classic Siege of Orgrimmar client.
  • Separate saved button configurations for SR and LC modes.
  • DE All bulk-cleanup action.
  • Fully passed or unanswered items can be assigned to a designated enchanter.
  • Items with only Transmog or Pass responses are randomly assigned to one of the players who selected Transmog.
  • Confirmation window showing planned bulk assignments.
  • Trade-timer window for monitoring the remaining trade time of items in your bags.
  • Resync action for rescanning every pending assigned item.
  • Resync preserves the assigned player and session for every item.
  • Handles multiple copies of the same item using separate physical bag slots.
  • Fallback matching when an awarded item link differs from the live item link in the bag.
  • Automatic retries when an assigned item is temporarily unavailable or locked.
  • Separate saved variables and addon identity from the original RCLootCouncil Classic.

Installation

For the complete SR-mode experience, all participating raid members should install MeldownLC2.

LC mode is designed to remain compatible with players using the regular RCLootCouncil Classic addon. However, those players will not receive MeldownLC2-specific SR functionality.

Do not run MeldownLC2 together with RCLootCouncil Classic or the original MeltdownLC fork on the same game client. Running multiple versions simultaneously may cause duplicate windows, conflicting slash commands or incompatible addon communication.
