Right-click to wand in World of Warcraft: Forever.

MeffortWand is a lightweight quality-of-life addon for Warlocks, Priests, and Mages that replaces the default melee auto-attack when right-clicking a hostile enemy with your wand's Shoot ability.

Normally, right-clicking an enemy in World of Warcraft initiates melee auto-attacks, even when you have a wand equipped. To attack from range, you must manually activate Shoot using an action bar or keybind.

MeffortWand makes wanding as simple as right-clicking your enemy.

Features

Right-click to Shoot

Right-click a living, hostile enemy to automatically select it and begin firing your equipped wand. Your wand continues attacking normally until interrupted, just as if you had activated Shoot manually.

Automatic Target Selection

MeffortWand targets the enemy you're right-clicking before activating Shoot. This works even if you previously had a different enemy, friendly NPC, or corpse selected.

For example, after looting a defeated enemy, you can simply right-click the next hostile creature to target it and begin wanding without changing targets manually.

Preserves Normal Mouse Controls

MeffortWand is designed to leave your normal interactions intact:

• Hold right-click to rotate your camera.

• Right-click corpses to loot them.

• Right-click friendly NPCs to interact normally.

• Right-click empty space without changing your normal controls.

The addon only intercepts unmodified right-clicks when your cursor is over a living hostile unit. Starting a camera turn while hovering over an enemy may also activate Shoot.

Simple Configuration

MeffortWand enables right-click wanding automatically on a fresh installation. No additional keybinds or interface configuration are required.

Optional chat commands allow you to change its behavior.

Lightweight and Minimal

No additional interface, external dependencies, combat rotation automation, or unnecessary features. Just the functionality needed to make wand combat more convenient.

Commands

• /mw on or /mw right — Enable right-click wanding (default).

• /mw shift — Use Shift + right-click instead.

• /mw off — Disable the addon and restore normal right-click behavior.

• /mw status — Display the current mode.

Changes requested during combat take effect after combat ends.

MeffortWand manages a character-specific Shoot macro automatically. It can reuse compatible existing macros and safely handle naming conflicts without deleting custom macros. A free character macro slot may be required.

Why MeffortWand?

Wands are an important part of early-game combat and mana conservation in WoW Forever, particularly for casters leveling without a full toolkit of spells.

MeffortWand removes the need for an extra Shoot keybind during ordinary combat. Whether you're leveling a new Warlock, conserving mana on your Priest, or finishing enemies with your Mage, attacking with a wand becomes as intuitive as attacking with a melee weapon.

One less button to press. One more reason to use your wand.

All attacks still require direct player input. MeffortWand does not automatically select targets, initiate combat, or execute combat rotations without a click.
