McAwesome Action Bars 0.3.0
What's new
Added
- Add an addon-owned player Cast Bar with spell icon and name, a tenths-of-a-second countdown, class-colored progress and trim, a luminous progress spark, reverse channel progress, and a distinct gold uninterruptible state.
- Add the Cast Bar to the existing bar selector, saved screen-relative positioning, 60–160% scale, opacity, Cartographer background, enable/disable, combat hiding, reset, and character-import systems.
- Show an idle Cast Bar preview while positions are unlocked so the bar can be selected, aligned, and dragged between casts.
- Highlight every slot on enabled player action bars with a bright cyan outline and soft glow while the cursor is carrying a spell, action, item, macro, mount, equipment set, or flyout.
Changed
- Suppress only the native player cast-bar presentation while the McAwesome Cast Bar is enabled; Blizzard's cast-state APIs and native casting machinery remain untouched.
Fixed
- Keep Bag Bar proxy icons visible on Camelot builds that expose backpack and empty-slot artwork through the native button's normal texture instead of its icon field.
- Guard the optional cast-bar gradient API used by some clients and claim the addon-owned frame before styling, preventing partial duplicate cast rows and allowing initialization to continue through Bag Bar creation on Forever/Camelot.
- Treat the enabled Cast Bar as ready while idle instead of labeling it inactive, and suppress both legacy and current Blizzard player cast-frame presentations throughout their update cycle.
- Remove Camelot's synthetic
- No Textsuffix from interaction cast names and use the spell API as a fallback when the entire returned name is placeholder text.
