Material Tooltip shows which profession recipes use an item directly in its tooltip. Quickly check what your herbs, ores, cloth, enchanting materials, and other reagents are used for, without switching between profession windows.

Features
- Recipe information: see the profession, recipe name, and required quantity.
- All professions: view uses beyond your character’s own professions and learned recipes.
- Customizable tooltips: choose between 1 and 5 recipe entries.
- Full recipe list: open a scrollable window to view all matching uses.
- Hidden items: exclude items using item IDs, item links, or exact English reagent names.
- Profession filters: hide professions you don’t want to see.
- Automatic profession detection: optionally show only your current character’s professions, including secondary professions.
- Per-character settings: configure each character separately.
- English interface: addon text and recipe names remain English regardless of your game language.
Item and profession filters apply to both tooltips and the full recipe list.

You can also use /materialtooltip instead of /mtt.
Getting Started
Enable the addon and hover over a reagent to see its uses. Type /mtt to customize the display.
In Hidden Items, enter one item per line and press Save hidden items. Remove an entry and save again to show that item.
