MaliMusicPlayer

Your music. Your adventures. Your soundtrack.

MaliMusicPlayer is a music player for listening to your own MP3 collection while playing World of Warcraft. It plays your music in place of the normal background soundtrack, with a full library window and a compact player that stays out of the way.  The players are customizable in the simplest and most functional ways; opacity, size, title loop styles, etc.

Use it to pick a track, shuffle your collection, or repeat a favorite while you play.

Who is it for?

Players who already have their own MP3s and want simple playback controls inside WoW instead of switching to a separate music app.

Getting started

1. Install the addon.

2. Put your MP3s in its mp3 folder.

3. Run the included UpdateLibrary.cmd to build the track list.

4. Launch WoW and type /mmp or use the minimap icon to access the player.`

Run the updater again whenever you add, remove, or rename music. The updater requires Windows and PowerShell; WoW cannot scan the folder itself. (I may add a python updater in the future to allow cross-platform use.)

Your music stays on your computer. You supply the collection, and MaliMusicPlayer provides the in-game controls.
