Patch Notes

Magic Eraser gets a dedicated Erase List for junk you know you never want, clearer tooltips, and better defaults for profession reagents. This update also adds a quick way to restore your character’s default Erase List and tidies up translations and terminology.

New Features

• Erase List — The Ignore List in reverse, for junk you know is junk. Anything on your Erase List is always erased and sold, regardless of its value or category. It covers the things no rule can reliably guess: leftover crafting materials, unwanted quest rewards, or reagents for a profession you dropped.
• Character & Global Lists — Erase Lists stack just like Ignore Lists, with one list per character plus a Global list. Manage them under Options > AddOns > Magic Eraser > Erase List.
• Restore Defaults — Quickly empty your character’s Erase List and restore its default entries. Magic Eraser asks for confirmation first, since anything you added yourself will be removed.

Improvements

• Smarter Tooltips — Item tooltips now explain why something is flagged, including when it comes from your Erase List.
• Terminology & Translations — Tidied translations and standardized the add-on’s terminology around “erase.”

Bug Fixes

• Shaman Fishing Reagents — Fixed Shiny Fish Scales and Fish Oil not being cleaned up correctly. Non-Shaman characters now start with both on their Erase List; Shamans start with neither. You can override these defaults by adding or removing either item yourself.
