Mage Escort Helper

Mage Escort Helper (MEH) is a World of Warcraft Classic Hardcore addon for a high-level Mage escorting a lower-level character without staying in a party.

The addon is designed around one simple combat input: SPACE.

고레벨 법사가 저레벨 캐릭터와 파티하지 않고 따라다니면서 쉽게 몹을 딜할 수 있게 합니다. 딜할 상황이 되면 Space 바만 누르면 됩니다. 경험치 손해 없게 법사의 실제 딜이 몹 HP 60% 부근부터 들어가도록 합니다. 암 생각없이 Space 바만 누르면 됩니다. 상황에 따라 시전할 마법이 활성화 됩니다.

얼음 화살은 시전 시간이 있으므로 몹 HP가 60%가 된 뒤 시전을 시작하는 것이 아니라, 따라다니기의 대상 캐릭이 몹의 HP를 깎는 속도와 얼음 화살 시전 시간을 계산하여 적절한 시점에 미리 시전을 시작하도록 합니다.

충분한 전투 데이터가 아직 없으면 기본값으로 몹 HP 85%부터 공격할 수 있도록 Space 버튼이 활성화됩니다.

MEH는 최근 비치명타 얼음 화살의 실제 피해량도 학습합니다. 몹의 남은 HP가 얼음 화살 1회 피해보다 충분히 많으면 추가 얼음 화살을 사용하고, 법봉질로 전환할 시점이 되면 Space 버튼에 법봉질이 표시됩니다. 법봉질로 전환된 뒤에는 이후 Space 입력도 법봉질을 유지합니다.

잡는 몹이 따라다니기의 대상 캐릭보다 2레벨 이상 높은 비정예 몹이면 이거나 캐릭보다 3레벨 낮은 몹 이상이면 위험 대상으로 보고 몹 HP 98% 미만부터 공격할 수 있습니다. 정예 몹은 법봉질로 전환하지 않고 얼음 화살만 사용합니다.

위급 상황에서는 ESC를 누르면 MEH의 UI와 키 입력 영향이 모두 사라져 애드온이 없는 상태처럼 돌아갑니다.

채팅창에 /meh를 입력하면 다시 UI가 표시됩니다.

Main features

• Mage only — the addon UI and functions are active only on Mage characters.
• FOLLOW — follows the selected friendly player. If no target is selected, FOLLOW chooses the nearest friendly player and follows them.
• START / STOP — enables or disables combat assistance without cancelling follow.
• SPACE — executes the currently prepared combat action.
• The large SPACE indicator shows the exact next combat action, such as:
  • Frostbolt
  • Wand
• Pressing SPACE gives visible button-press feedback.
• ESC emergency release — hides all MEH UI and removes MEH key influence. Type /meh to restore the addon UI.
• /meh debug or /meh diag opens a separate diagnostic window.

XP-aware normal-mob assistance

For normal mobs, MEH aims for the Mage's actual damage to begin around 60% mob HP.

Because Frostbolt has a cast time, MEH observes how quickly the followed character is reducing the mob's HP and estimates when Frostbolt should begin so that the damage lands near the target HP.

If there is not enough combat data yet, the fallback start threshold is 85%.

MEH also learns the Mage's recent non-critical Frostbolt damage. When a mob still has more than roughly one learned Frostbolt hit remaining, MEH can plan another Frostbolt.

Once MEH switches to wanding, later SPACE presses continue wanding instead of returning to Frostbolt.

Dangerous targets

• Non-elite mob at least 2 levels above the followed character: assistance gate begins at 95% HP.
• Eligible elite mobs from 3 levels below the followed character's level and above: assistance gate begins at 98% HP.
• Elite targets use Frostbolt only.

Targeting

The Mage does not need to select the mob directly.

MEH keeps the followed character as the Mage's target when possible and casts at that character's target using @targettarget.

• /meh — show MEH again after emergency release.
• /meh help — open help.
• /meh debug or /meh diag — open the diagnostic window.
• /meh stop — disable attack assistance.
