Mage Escort Helper

Core behavior

Mage Escort Helper uses a strict relationship:

Mage → follows Escort → Escort targets Mob → Mage assists that Mob

The mage's own current target is not the source of combat decisions. The addon attempts to read the Escort's target and uses that mob's HP, level, elite classification, and recent HP-loss speed.

Buttons

• FOLLOW — starts or resumes following an available friendly player.
• START / STOP — controls attack assistance only. It never starts following.
  • START is disabled whenever follow is not active.
  • STOP turns attack assistance off while follow continues.
• ACTION / SPACE — attacks the Escort's target using /assist Escort.
• HELP — explains the logic.
• ESC — Emergency Release; hides the addon and releases its helper key handling.

For ordinary non-party mobs, Frostbolt timing targets actual mage damage beginning around/below 60% mob HP. The addon estimates cast timing from the Escort target's recent HP-loss speed. When there is insufficient history, the fallback cast-start threshold is 85%.

Dangerous mobs are assisted earlier:

• mob level ≥ Escort level + 2 → 95%
• elite at Escort level or higher → 95%

Survival overrides XP protection:

• Mage HP < 40% → ICE BLOCK
• Escort HP < 50% → ARCANE EXPLOSION

Important: outside a party, WoW may stop exposing the Escort as a persistent UnitID after targets change. When that happens, the addon cannot safely inspect the Escort's target HP before the hardware key press. v0.5 logs this as Escort UnitID unreadable rather than silently using the mage's own target.

고레벨 법사가 저레벨 캐릭터와 파티하지 않고 따라다니면서 쉽게 몹을 딜할 수 있게 합니다. 딜할 상황이 되면 Space 바만 누르면 됩니다. 경험치 손해 안 보기 위해 법사의 실제 딜이 몹 HP 60% 미만부터 들어가도록 합니다. 얼음화살은 시전 시간이 있으므로 60%가 된 뒤 시전을 시작하는 것이 아니라, 에스코트 대상이 몹의 HP를 깎는 속도와 얼음화살 시전 시간을 계산해서 적절한 시점에 미리 시전을 시작하도록 안내합니다. 충분한 전투 데이터가 아직 없으면 안전한 기본값으로 85%에서 시전 시작이 되도록 공격 버튼이 활성화됩니다. 이후 법봉 공격이 역시 스페이스바로 시작합니다.

에스코트 대상의 HP가 50% 미만이 되면 경험치보다 생존을 우선하여 Space 바를 누르면 신비한 폭발(신폭)이 시전되고, 법사 자신의 HP가 40% 미만이면 Space 바에 의해 얼음 방패(얼방)가 시전됩니다.

잡는 몹이 에스코트 대상과 동레벨 이상의 정예이거나 에스코트 대상보다 2레벨 이상 높은 몹이면 위험 대상으로 보고 몹 HP 95% 미만부터 Space 바가 먹힙니다.

위급 상황인 경우 ESC를 누르면 이 애드온이 없는 상태로 돌아갑니다.
