Macro Magic

• Options. The new gear button at the top of the window, /mm options, the minimap button (right-click) and the game's Options > AddOns > Macro Magic all open the same settings. Point at any setting to see what it does. Every setting starts the way Macro Magic already worked, and Restore defaults puts them all back.
  • Window: /macro opens Macro Magic, Beginner mode, Escape closes the window, Lock the window in place, Window size (50% to 150%) and Reset position.
  • Editor: Text size for the macro text, Show problems while you type, Hold Ctrl to rearrange spells, Delete key deletes the macro (with an optional Ask first), and whether the blank macro you start with is an account or character macro.
  • Messages and tooltips: Help tooltips on buttons, Also show results in chat, and how long messages stay on the status line.
  • Backups: Back up before the first change, and how many backups to keep (5 to 30, still 10 to start).
  • Starter pack: whether starter macros go to your character or account macros first.
• Minimap button. Off to start. Turn it on in Options or with /mm minimap. Left-click opens Macro Magic, right-click opens Options, drag it to move it.
• Key binding. Set a key to open and close Macro Magic in the game's Keybindings, under AddOns.
• AddOns list on the minimap. Macro Magic is in the game's AddOns button on the minimap: left-click opens it, right-click opens Options.
• Fixed: The first time you open Macro Magic in a session, your typing no longer goes into the Name box before you click it.
• Fixed: /mm undo now says what it did in chat when the window is closed.
• Changed: Restore, Import and macros the game refused to make no longer also print in chat. They show on the status line, with long lists shortened (like "Heal, Kick and 2 more"). Turn on Also show results in chat to get the full list in chat as well. Replies to /mm commands you type still go to chat.
• Changed: Restore only lists what it changed, like "2 added, 1 updated".
• Faster: Checking spells, searching icons and the problem count while you type do less work, which helps most with big spellbooks and long macros.

• Starter pack for your talent tree. The starter pack now has a tab for each of your class's three talent trees, like Arms, Fury and Protection. It opens on the tree your talents point to (or your class's leveling tree before you've spent any points), and clicking another tab shows that tree's macros. Macro Magic remembers your pick on this character; pick your talent tree again to go back to following your talents. /mm starter fury opens a tree by name.
• Macros built around each tree. Every tree has its own macros for its key spells, written for WoW Forever. Examples are Mortal Strike with Sweeping Strikes on Shift, Revenge-else-Sunder for Protection warriors, Nature's Swiftness instant heals, Cold Blood Eviscerate, Presence of Mind Pyroblast, Ice Block that cancels on a second press, Shadowburn and Curse of Agony on mouseover, Bestial Wrath with trinkets, Holy Shock on mouseover, a Seal of Fury Judgement taunt and ground spells at your cursor. The macros every spec of your class can use come after them.
• Macros for spells you haven't learned yet. The starter pack also lists macros for spells you don't know yet, unticked, with the spell they need. Tick one to make it now; it starts working once you learn the spell or talent.
• New for every class: Victory Rush for warriors, Conjure (water, Shift for food) for mages, and MO Innervate and Leave Form Heal for druids.
• Changed: Starter pack results show on the status line only, not also in chat.
