M+ Stops is a World of Warcraft: Midnight addon designed to track and review interrupts and crowd-control abilities used during Mythic+ dungeons.
The addon provides a dedicated, movable and resizable meter showing Stops performed during a run. Stops are separated into Kicks (interrupt abilities such as Wind Shear, Kick, Counterspell and Counter Shot) and CC (crowd-control abilities such as Leg Sweep, Psychic Scream, Capacitor Totem, Shockwave and similar abilities).
Features
• Current Combat Segment – View Stops recorded during the current or most recently completed combat segment. This allows players to see their contribution during individual trash pulls and boss encounters rather than only seeing a dungeon-wide total.
• Mythic+ Overall – Switch to an Overall view to see Stops accumulated across the complete Mythic+ run.
• Separate Kick and CC totals – The meter displays each player's recorded CC, Kicks and combined Total separately, making it easier to understand how different forms of enemy control are being used.
• Spell breakdown – See which interrupt and crowd-control abilities contributed to the recorded Stops.
• Automatic combat segmentation – Combat is divided into individual segments. Boss encounters are identified separately from normal trash combat where the game provides encounter information.
• Mythic+ Run History – Completed runs can be stored and reviewed later. Players can cycle through previous Mythic+ runs and then inspect the Overall result or individual trash and boss combat segments from that run.
• Automatic end-of-run summary – When a Mythic+ dungeon finishes, M+ Stops automatically switches to the Overall view so the results for the completed dungeon can be reviewed.
• Group reporting – The currently selected result can be reported to group chat, allowing the group to see the recorded Stops totals without needing to open the addon window.
• Customisable interface – The window can be moved and resized. An Options menu allows players to select fonts, change font size and choose the header background colour. Window and appearance settings are saved between sessions.
• Manual Reset and recovery tools – The current run can be reset without deleting stored run history. A recovery command is also provided to restore the window's default position and size if required.
Why use M+ Stops?
Mythic+ success is not determined by damage and healing alone. Preventing dangerous enemy casts and abilities is an important part of dungeon gameplay. M+ Stops provides a focused meter for players who want to review this aspect of their performance.
Instead of only asking “How much damage did I do?”, M+ Stops helps players examine “How much did I contribute to controlling the pull?”
This can be particularly useful when reviewing difficult trash pulls, boss encounters and complete Mythic+ runs, or when comparing how a group used interrupts and crowd control throughout a dungeon.
Midnight API limitations
World of Warcraft: Midnight places restrictions on combat information available to addons. M+ Stops works within Blizzard's permitted addon APIs and does not claim to provide combat-log information that the game does not expose. Some crowd-control attribution may therefore be limited compared with addons from earlier versions of World of Warcraft.
