v1.4.4
What's new
Changelog
1.4.4
Changed
- Group Finder: when a group's worst rating comes only from a name-and-class match (the member's realm is unknown), its row icon and tint are drawn faded, so a guess no longer looks certain.
- The
/mpppr lfgdebuglog, which holds other players' names, is dropped at the next login instead of staying in your saved variables. - Config tab sections are laid out one below the other automatically.
- The CurseForge description covers the member list, party keys and the thank-you message.
Fixed
- The Competitive playstyle option's label no longer runs past the edge of the Config tab; the blocked-action warning is a note below it.
1.4.3
Added
- An optional setting (Config > Start a group, off by default) that marks the Start a Group playstyle Competitive when none is set. The game blocks addons from setting the group title, so it reports one blocked action each time the window opens.
1.4.2
Changed
- Clicking a key in the Start a Group Party keys list selects that dungeon and its Mythic Keystone again. Nothing is selected automatically. The game blocks addons from setting the group title, so it reports one blocked action each time and the Title box may keep the old dungeon until you pick the dungeon in the dropdown.
1.4.1
Fixed
- Start a Group no longer triggers a "blocked action" error (SetEntryTitle). The game protects the group title and activity selection, so the addon no longer picks your key, Mythic Keystone or the Competitive playstyle for you; the key and playstyle controls are removed from the Config tab.
Changed
- The Start a Group key picker is now a read-only Party keys list: it shows your key and every party key, and clicking one reminds you which dungeon to pick.
1.4.0
Added
- Start a Group (Dungeons): the window now selects your key's dungeon and its Mythic Keystone activity (else the best party key, else the last Mythic+ dungeon you listed), keeps Mythic Keystone selected when you change dungeon, and preselects the Competitive playstyle. Each can be changed or turned off on the Config tab under Start a group.
- A key picker on the Start a Group window lists your key and every party key, and selects that dungeon's Mythic Keystone.
- Party keys are read from BigWigs-style key messages (asked for when the group changes), keystone links posted in party chat, and Astral Keys if you have it.
/mpppr keyslists what is known.
Changed
- The thank-you message now goes out 3 seconds after the key ends.
1.3.0
Added
- Group Finder: a listed group's tooltip now names every member (class coloured, with their role) and shows your rating beside the ones you have rated. Only the leader's realm is known before you join, so other members are matched by name and class and marked "name and class match". Names load a moment after the listing, so a member can show as loading at first.
- Group Finder rows are tinted and marked by the worst-rated member of the group, not just the leader, and update when names load.
/mpppr lfgdebuglogs what a listing exposes to the saved variables (until you reload).
Fixed
- Values the game hides are treated as unknown instead of raising an error.
- The thank-you message box no longer suggests a blank message uses the default.
1.2.1
Changed
- Declares both WoW 12.1.5 and 12.1.7 as supported versions.
1.2.0
Added
- An optional thank-you message in party chat when a key ends (off by default). On the Config tab you choose the text, whether it is sent only for a timed key or whenever a key ends, and whether to skip it when everyone is a friend or guildmate.
Changed
- Updated for WoW 12.1.7.
1.1.0
Added
- A "Raider.IO main already checked" checkbox in the rating editor. Characters you import have it set by default.
link_alts.py, an optional script in the project (not in the addon download) that looks up the declared Raider.IO main of everyone you rated Avoid, rates and links it, and notes which character it came from. See the README.
1.0.2
Fixed
- The Group Finder right-click menu now rates the group leader on a search result and the applicant on an applicant row, even when the menu does not pass a name.
1.0.1
Fixed
- The Edit Rating and Share / Backup windows no longer show the list behind them through the text. They now draw above the main window, and the editor opens beside it the first time instead of on top of it.
1.0.0
First release.
Ratings
- Private, account-wide ratings for the players you run Mythic+ with: Good / Neutral / Avoid, a note, and optional tags (Great player, Helpful, Late / AFK, Bad kicks, Avoidable dmg, Toxic, Left early).
- Everyone you group with is recorded automatically (class, last seen, runs together). A rating popup appears when a key completes, and the last five keys together are kept per character, along with the role you usually see them in.
- Characters can be linked to a person, automatically by BattleTag for Battle.net friends or by hand, and an unrated alt inherits its person's rating.
- Characters on realms you choose are flagged Avoid unless you have rated them yourself.
Where it shows
- Ratings, tags, notes, runs together and the last key together appear on player tooltips.
- Colored flag icons and row highlights in the Group Finder.
- An "M+ Ratings" entry on player, party, raid, target and Group Finder right-click menus to rate in place.
- A chat message, an on-screen alert and a sound (each switchable) when someone you rated Avoid joins your group.
Windows
- A flat dark window with three tabs: Ratings (the default; Good / Neutral / Avoid / Unrated sections with live counts, search across names, people, notes and tags, and a list sortable by name, runs and last seen), Clean up data, and Config.
- An editor with the flag, tags, note, dates (first met, rated), recent keys and person link.
- AddOn Compartment button and a page under Options > AddOns.
/mpppror/ratingsopens the window;/mpppr settingsopens Config.
Keeping it tidy
- Unrated players you have not grouped with for a number of days (7 by default, configurable, 0 = never) are removed automatically, along with people left with no characters, unless they have a rating or note of their own. Days away from the game count. Nothing is purged until a full window after you first load the addon.
- A cleanup tool removes characters by rating and by days since last seen, with a live count and a two-click confirm.
- Undo for the last cleanup and the last automatic purge (
/mpppr undo [cleanup|purge]).
Sharing
- Manual export / import of ratings as a copyable string. Import only fills blanks and never overwrites what you have already rated. Ratings are never broadcast.
Targets WoW 12.1.5 (interface 120105).
