Lueur-1.0.0.zip
What's new
1.0.0
New
- Two more kinds of object: Chests (chests, crates and other containers you can loot), in blue, and the Fishing bobber, in red.
- Each kind of object can have its own look: effect, size, intensity, vertical offset, fade, name and icon, and whether the light passes behind your character. Select a kind in the list and what you set applies to it alone. "Same as all objects" gives it back the common look.
- The colour of each kind can be changed: left-click its swatch, right-click to return to the original colour.
- A preview window shows the effect on a 3D object of the kind you are setting, in each of its states. Drag to turn the object, right-drag to move it, use the wheel to zoom.
- "Show name and icon", on by default: Lueur writes the object's name and its interaction icon above it, in place of the ones the game draws.
- The effect can be hidden in combat, in instances, and on objects you cannot use yet.
- Objects can be ignored by name, with the "Ignore target" button or
/lueur ignore. - German and Spanish, selectable in the settings like English and French.
Changed
- The settings window has been rebuilt to look like a window of the game. It has two pages: the kinds of object and their appearance, then detection and general settings. It can also be opened from Options > AddOns.
- Which kinds of object are lit, and the size and height of the cut-out around your character, are now kept per character. Each character starts from what your account had.
- Chests used to be part of "Other objects". If you had those switched off, chests stay off until you tick them.
- Lueur now hands your original targeting settings back to the game each time you log out, not only when you disable it. Removing the addon no longer leaves its values behind.
Fishing
- The bobber is lit when it lands close enough for the game to select it, about 15 yards. A bobber that lands farther away gets no light: the game does not select it, and an addon has no other way to find it.
Game settings
- Besides the console variables listed in the description, Lueur now sets
SoftTargetInteractRangeIsHardto 0 and raisesnameplateGameObjectMaxDistanceto 60 unless yours is already higher. While your fishing line is out, it asks for aSoftTargetInteractRangeof 60. Your own values are saved and put back as before.
Every new setting has its command: /lueur help lists them.
