LuckLedger Changelog
What's new in 1.3.1 — April 15, 2026
Bug Fixes
- Fixed Mythic Keystones incorrectly registering as end-of-run loot. When a keystone was in the chest, it could be counted as a gear drop and score the run as a loot win instead of a miss.
What's new in 1.3.0 — April 15, 2026
Bug Fixes
- Fixed score inflation caused by point value changes in v1.2.5 not being applied to existing history. Mount drops (10→5), BoE drops (2.5→1.5), and boss pass penalties (-0.15→-0.25) were corrected for new events in 1.2.5, but all previously recorded events kept their old values. On first login after this update, your full event history will be recalibrated to the current constants. Expect scores to drop by roughly 5–15 points depending on how much history you had before v1.2.5. Nothing is deleted — only the point math is corrected.
What's new in 1.2.6 — April 9, 2026
Bug Fixes
- M+ end-of-run loot now records the item at the correct item level. Previously, the item link was sourced from the chat message, which sometimes omitted upgrade-level bonus IDs and caused the ledger to display the base item level instead of the actual dropped level. The link is now captured directly from the loot window when it opens, which always includes the full bonus ID set.
What's new in 1.2.5 — April 5, 2026
Improvements
- Tuned point values for asymmetric events to reduce score inflation over time. Mount drops are now worth 5 points (down from 10), BoE drops are worth 1.5 (down from 2.5), and full boss clears where nothing useful dropped now cost slightly more (-0.25, up from -0.15). These changes only affect new events going forward.
What's new in 1.2.4 — April 5, 2026
Bug Fixes
- Non-qualifying end-of-run loot (crafting mats, recipes, etc.) no longer shows an item tooltip when hovering a missed M+ run in the ledger. Only actual gear wins display a tooltip.
What's new in 1.2.3 — April 3, 2026
Improvements
- Luck data is now stored per season (e.g. Midnight Season 1) instead of per expansion. Your history and score are preserved — everything migrates automatically on first login. This sets up the foundation for per-season comparisons and leaderboards as new seasons launch.
- Guild and group sync now scopes scores to the active season, so comparisons against guildmates are apples-to-apples.
- An "All Seasons" view is available in the season picker if you want to see your full combined history.
Bug Fixes
- Mount drops from Mythic+ dungeons were being counted twice — once as a mount (+10) and again as end-of-run loot (+1.80). The mount score is now the only entry recorded for that run.
What's new in 1.2.2 — March 26, 2026
Improvements
- M+ end-of-run loot now carries more weight in your luck score — a full dungeon run gives a bigger swing in either direction (+1.80 on a win, −1.20 on a miss) to better reflect how much a run feels like it matters.
- Items received from the M+ chest now display their correct item level and upgrade track (e.g. Hero 3/6) in the ledger tooltip, instead of showing the base item stats.
Bug Fixes
- M+ end-of-run results were not being recorded at all when the run completed. The event was silently dropped whenever the player left the instance before the 60-second tracking window expired. Wins and misses now record correctly.
What's new in 1.2.1 — March 24, 2026
Bug Fixes
- BoE items in the ledger now display their proper colored item name instead of showing raw link markup. If you had entries like "|Hitem:260377..." in your history, they'll automatically fix themselves the next time you open the ledger.
What's new in 1.2.0 — March 23, 2026
Improvements
- Mythic+ end-of-run loot is now tracked for up to 60 seconds after the run completes, up from 15. If you were slow to click through the chest and events were being missed, they should now record reliably.
Bug Fixes
- The "Dev" tab no longer appears in the addon window for regular users. It was always hidden and non-functional outside of development, but it's gone now.
- Updated the addon interface version to match the current WoW patch, eliminating the "out of date" warning in the addon list.
What's new in 1.1.12 — March 22, 2026
Data Cleanup
- Old pre-Midnight raid loot events have been wiped from stored history. If LuckLedger was tracking raid drops from before The Midnight launched, those events are gone — your luck score now reflects only current-tier content.
What's new in 1.1.11 — March 22, 2026
Improvements
- Roll events now show how many other players you competed against. Instead of just knowing you lost a roll, you can see "you rolled against 14 other people" — useful context for understanding your luck history.
What's new in 1.1.10 — March 22, 2026
New: Export your ledger
- Added
/ll exportledgercommand and an Export dialog. You can now copy your full loot event history as text — useful for sharing with your guild or keeping your own records.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed a score inflation issue where zero-sum rolls (everyone passes) were incorrectly counting as luck events. Warband loot is also now correctly excluded from luck calculations. Existing data has been retroactively migrated.
What's new in 1.1.9 — March 22, 2026
Bug Fixes
- Fixed same-track gear detection failing in some cases due to a bonus ID offset being off by 2. Also added a diagnostics command for inspecting track data if something looks wrong.
What's new in 1.1.8 — March 22, 2026
Bug Fixes
- Fixed a bug where the same-track luck penalty wasn't applying to boss personal loot drops. If you received gear on the same upgrade track you already had, that should count less favorably toward your luck — now it does.
What's new in 1.1.7 — March 21, 2026
Bug Fixes
- Fixed the Mythic+ same-track upgrade check sometimes failing to recognize the correct gear track. The fix ensures only epic-quality item links are stashed for comparison, and corrects a case where the item ID was nil.
What's new in 1.1.6 — March 20, 2026
Bug Fixes
- Fixed tier token roll tracking not correctly identifying wins in certain raid scenarios. Roll events now use item ID matching and a corrected roll resolution flag.
What's new in 1.1.5 — March 20, 2026
Bug Fixes
- Fixed uncontested rolls not being recorded. If you rolled Need on something and no one else rolled, LuckLedger now correctly tracks that as a win event.
What's new in 1.1.4 — March 20, 2026
Bug Fixes
- Fixed a crash when looking up loot history for certain item types.
- Fixed boss names showing blank in "everyone passed" loot events.
What's new in 1.1.3 — March 20, 2026
Improvements
- Added a Luck Rank column to the guild/group view so you can see how you rank among your group members at a glance.
- Polished the settings layout, resized the close button, and fixed the version label display.
- Fixed the scrollbar thumb being unclickable due to an invisible frame intercepting mouse events.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed raid roll tracking: competitor counts, win determination, pass-all luck deficit, mount deduplication, and early roll resolution all corrected.
- Luck events are now filtered to current-season content only, using the Encounter Journal API. Events from previous seasons no longer affect your score.
What's new in 1.1.1 — March 15, 2026
Bug Fixes
- Fixed item icons not appearing in event ledger rows in some cases.
What's new in 1.1.0 — March 15, 2026
The Midnight Season 1 Update
- Added gear track bonus IDs for all four track tiers (Veteran, Champion, Hero, Mythic). LuckLedger can now correctly identify same-track upgrades for The Midnight Season 1 loot.
- Same-track luck reduction now applies to Mythic+ dungeon loot — receiving a gear upgrade on a track you already had counts less favorably toward your luck score.
- Widened the luck score curve and recalculated all stored scores on load. Scores are more spread out and meaningful across the full range.
- Fixed mount and BoE item links rendering as raw item IDs instead of clickable links in the ledger.
What's new in 1.0.5 — March 6, 2026
- Updated the addon icon.
What's new in 1.0.4 — March 5, 2026
Bug Fixes
- Fixed the CurseForge package so the addon installs correctly. The inner folder in the zip was previously named
LuckLedger-VERSION/instead ofLuckLedger/, which caused CurseForge App to install it into a broken path.
What's new in 1.0.3 — March 4, 2026
Improvements
- LuckLedger now registers with the game's Options system. You can open it from Escape → Options → AddOns instead of only via
/ll.
