Description
LucidNav – Lucid Nightmare Maze Navigator
Real-time mapping and navigation addon for the Endless Halls, the maze required to obtain the Lucid Nightmare secret mount. No more drawing the maze on paper.
🌐 Available in: English, Español, Deutsch, Português (BR), 简体中文 — LucidNav follows your WoW client language automatically, no settings needed.
Only active inside the Endless Halls.
Quick Start
- 1. Enter the Endless Halls and open the addon:
/lnn,/ln, or/lucid - 2. Walk around — the map builds itself (Unexplored territory)
- 3. Left-click on edges (N/S/E/W) to mark walls
- 4. Found a rune/orb? Click its matching color marker
- 5. Pick a Navigation Target for directions with step counts
- 6. Mistake? Right-click a room to fix it, or use Undo / Restore a checkpoint
If you get teleported, click "I got ported!" immediately.
Tips for Solving the Maze
- Don't extinguish runes early — they're your navigation landmarks
- Navigate to unexplored rooms first
- Save a checkpoint at every milestone
- Wrong wall link? Right-click → Unlink / Detach / Delete instead of resetting the whole map
When does the maze reset?
The Endless Halls layout is not tied to the daily/weekly instance lockout — it resets once per day at realm midnight (00:00 server time).
- After the reset, the old map is invalid — click New Map and start fresh
- Try to finish your run before the reset — server time, not your local/player time, is what counts
Localization
LucidNav automatically displays in your WoW client's language — English, Español (esES/esMX), Português (ptBR), Deutsch (deDE), and 简体中文 (zhCN) are supported, with English as the fallback for any other locale. Translations are a first draft (not yet reviewed by native speakers) — corrections are welcome via GitHub issues or pull requests.
Compatibility
Tested with World of Warcraft 12.0.7 – Midnight
