Loxx Hide Tooltips
Stop UI tooltip clutter when it matters most.
Loxx Hide Tooltips removes useless interface tooltips during combat and instanced content, so your screen stays clean in dungeons, raids, arenas, and battlegrounds.
World tooltips (mouseover on NPCs, mobs, objects) and chat links are not affected.
WHAT GETS HIDDEN
When the addon is ACTIVE, UI tooltips are suppressed in:
- Combat (open world and instances)
- Instances: dungeons, raids, arenas, battlegrounds, even between pulls
This includes tooltips from:
- Player, target, focus, party and raid frames
- Buffs, debuffs and aura icons (spell names and descriptions)
- Action bars (Blizzard, Bartender4, Dominos, ElvUI and more)
- Bags, talents, trinkets, and other UI elements
WHAT STAYS VISIBLE
- World mouseover tooltips (3D game world)
- Chat link tooltips (items, spells, achievements and more)
SETTINGS
Open with /hidetooltip or Esc, Options, AddOns, Loxx Hide Tooltips.
ACTIVE / INACTIVE ACTIVE = combat and instance suppression INACTIVE = addon fully off
Reveal key Hold ALT, SHIFT, or CTRL while hovering to show a tooltip anyway. Default: None
