Loreweave: Voices

Let your words cross faction lines.

Loreweave: Voices lets nearby players with the addon understand one another’s SAY and custom /em messages. Speak and roleplay normally, without joining a party or raid, selecting a target, or manually pairing characters.

Simple controls

• Left-click the minimap emblem to enable or disable Loreweave: Voices.
• Blue magic means ON; dimmed blue means OFF. The gold border stays bright in both states.
• Drag the emblem to reposition it.
• Use /lwv or /loreweavevoices to toggle it through chat.

What you need

Everyone participating must have Loreweave: Voices installed and enabled and be within normal SAY or emote range. Players without the addon retain normal Blizzard chat.

Loreweave: Voices relays the original text between addon users; it does not translate real-world languages or decode speech from players without the addon.

Current release

• Supports WoW Retail.
• Custom-emote handling currently targets English clients.
• Built-in emotes such as /wave remain unchanged.
• The first message may briefly wait while automatic discovery completes.
• Ignore lists and WoW chat restrictions are respected.
• No chat history is saved.
• Large gatherings are still undergoing testing.
