v1.14.1-forever
What's new
1.14.1
New: captions
The words the narrator reads can now show on screen, as it reads them. Read and listen at the same time.
- Turn them on in Options > Narrator and language > Captions.
- Choose the size of the letters, how dark the background band is (or no band at all), and the outline of the letters (none, thin or thick).
- Move them where you like with Adjust positions, or Shift-drag them.
- When a narration pack reads a whole section as one recording, the caption moves through its lines as the recording plays.
Bugs fixed
- "Lorever has been blocked from an action" when the world map closed. Some players saw this each time they closed the map, and on a game controller the error window could freeze the game. The cause was most likely the option that lets Esc close Lorever's windows: it listened to every key, and the key that closes the map then ran in Lorever's name. That option is now off, and Lorever no longer listens to the keyboard at all while it is off. You can turn it on again in the options; its tip says what to do if you see the error.
- The route line on the world map no longer attaches itself to the map's own frames. It is drawn with Lorever's map marks instead.
If you still see the error after this update, please tell us on Discord or CurseForge.
