Description
Mount farming, without the spreadsheet
Mount Planner turns the mounts you are missing into a practical route you can follow in game. It reads your Mount Journal, checks the character you are playing, and points you toward useful stops instead of leaving you to sort through a giant checklist.
A route that fits your character
- Builds an efficient route from the mounts you still need.
- Accounts for faction, class, level, reputation, saved instance lockouts, and current event availability.
- Groups related mounts into the same stop so you are not sent back and forth.
- Options to include obtained, ineligible, or currently unavailable mounts.
- Filters by dungeons, raids, world bosses, rare monsters, quests, treasures, vendors, reputations, achievements, professions, PvP, holidays, secrets, and more.
The useful details are already there
Each step gives you a clear acquisition instruction. Depending on the source, its tooltip can show requirements, eligible difficulties, reset status, event availability, vendors, costs, zones, coordinates, quest progress, and the mounts you still need from a shared reward pool.
Relevant names and icons also act as shortcuts to the Mount Journal, Achievements, the Adventure Guide, the world map, or a copyable Wowhead link.
Navigation that does more than place a pin
- Opens the destination map and keeps guidance active while you travel.
- Uses Blizzard waypoints by default, with optional TomTom support.
- Recommends usable travel items and spells when they meaningfully shorten the trip.
- Can switch a dungeon or raid to the recommended difficulty before you enter.
Rare alerts that follow the plan
When the current step targets a supported rare, Mount Planner can alert you when that rare is detected nearby. The alert stays focused on the mount you are currently working toward, with a choice of sounds and a short on-screen timer.
Quick start
- Type
/mpto open or close Mount Planner. - Type
/mp settingsto open its settings. - A key binding is available through World of Warcraft's normal Keybindings menu.
Mount Planner is a standalone addon for World of Warcraft. It has no required dependencies and is fully localized for English, German, French, European and Latin American Spanish, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Korean, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese.
The addon runs locally in game and does not upload your character or collection data to LootIndex.gg.
