This shows an item that has just been 'unlocked'.
The vendor window is currently open and 'locked' items have been faded.
Description
I originally made this for myself but I've decided to release it on the chance that you might find it useful. If not, be gentle!
This is a simple addon that allows you to 'lock' inventory items; this will fade them out when you've opened a vendor window.
Please note
This will not literally lock your items . You can still sell or destroy them if you want to, without unlocking. This simply fades the inventory items out when you've opened a vendor window to help you avoid accidental vendoring.
Usage
- Grab an item
- Press CTRL + T to toggle 'lock'/'unlock' the item - If you 'lock' one stack of Copper Ore, all Copper Ore will be 'locked'.
- Open a vendor window and see the fade in action.
- For an in-game reminder, type /li in chat.

Q: Will this give a warning if I try to sell an item?
A: No, it is not intended to limit your gameplay, only to help you avoid accidentally vendoring inventory items that you want to keep.
Q: Why did you call it LockItems instead of FadeItems?
A: Players may be looking for 'Lock' but aren't likely to search for 'Fade'.
Q: Will this cause conflicts with another inventory addon that I already have installed?
A: While I have tested this with several addons without any problems, like any addon, there is a risk of conflicts. If you experience a conflict, get in touch with me right away. I'll work to discover the conflict and resolve it as soon as possible.
